April 23, 2026 nI visited the Ontario Tech Regent Theatre for the 18th Annual Forensic Science Research Day, and I was truly impressed from the moment I walked in.nnThe theatre itself was stunning and had the feel of a classic, grand venue. There was a staff member at the front desk greeting guests as they arrived and directing everyone into the auditorium, which made the entrance process smooth and welcoming. Inside, the space was beautiful, high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling curtains, and large chandeliers that added to the elegance of the setting. The seating was also very comfortable, which made the experience even better.nnOverall, the entire event was exceptionally well organized, and everything flowed seamlessly. As a parent and a mother, I was genuinely impressed by how thoughtfully the school put this together for the students to present their work in such a professional and impressive environment.
First time at the Regent Theatre.nnNot a bad seat in the house.nnCame to see UK Pink Floyd Experience, if you are a fan of Pink Floyd, they will be back next year - unbelievable show.
Went for the Beatles tribute band show was pretty good and entertaining. Smaller than the theaters but good. Parking is easy not at the theater but close by. Lot's of places for a quick bite before or after the show . Overall a good evening
OMG and if you could see my face you would say wow why is this person smiling so much the Regent Theatre is an amazing theater. I think everyone needs to go and see something doesn’t matter what your cuppa tea is or your coffee I think you should go. Yes, I’ve heard there’s limited parking, but that is untrue. There’s lots of parking near the theatre in like a two minute walk maximum from where you park. The staff is excellent. The first person I spoke to his name is Kevin I can’t remember what his position was but he was really cool and explained everything to me about what was done to the region, etc. etc. wow it’s amazing. Everyone should go I give it five stars, but I would like to give it 10 stars. also, tickets are a very decent price. You can see almost anything check out the website. You’ll see what I’m talking about. so come on down to the Regent theatre in Oshawa
I recently attended a classical dance performance at the Regent Theatre in Oshawa, Ontario, and it was a delightful experience. The theatre, located at 50 King Street E, is a beautifully restored venue owned by the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, exuding historic charm with modern comforts. The intimate setting, with comfortable seating and excellent acoustics, ensured every moment of the performance was captivating.nThe classical dance show was mesmerizing, showcasing graceful choreography and talented dancers who brought the stage to life. The sound system was impeccable, enhancing the music that accompanied the performance, and the sightlines were clear from our seats, making every movement visible. The staff were friendly and efficient, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The concession stand offered reasonably priced refreshments, though it’s worth noting they only accept cash, with an ATM conveniently located in the lobby.nParking was hassle-free, with free spots available after 6:00 PM, which added to the convenience of the evening. The Regent Theatre’s ability to host such high-quality performances in a cozy, elegant space makes it a gem in Oshawa. I’d highly recommend catching a show here, especially for dance enthusiasts. We’re already looking forward to our next visit
