Service can be hit or miss. I asked for apple, sugar cane and ginger mixed together for my juice. I've had it before here. The person serving me, tried to tell me I won't like it, even though I said I've had it before. The juices are made quickly even when it can get a bit busy. If you know you want a certain combination of fruits mixed together...stay firm on what you want and don't let them talk you out of it.
The orange, ginger and ginseng juice was great and the watermelon juice was so refreshing.
Love Refuel's smoothies! The Choco Maca and Coffee Cashew ones are delicious - sweeter than I expected, not sure if there is sugar above and beyond the dates and bananas? Really thick and full of goodness - the first one I had was satisfying enough to serve as lunch! Great location and fast, friendly service. Will keep coming back!
I visited the new location last Friday and ordered the Choco Maca smoothie without dates and added protein. I must say this was the worst tasting smoothie I have ever bought. All I could taste was the protein powder and it truly was gross. For the quality I expected and the high cost, the smoothie was not worth it and I doubt I will be going back to buy another one. I’m truly disappointed.
Great smoothie bar. Great service, and great quality ingredients !!! And very conviently close to the subway station, great for grab and go during commute. Beware of great Choco Maca smoothie, they use actually cocoachocolate meaning the smoothie is going to be strong. so don't skimp on the dates and banana .
I come to this place practically every day. The service is friendly and the quality of the smoothies is the best in Toronto. Warmly recommended. And I believe the contents of the smoothies is organic. There is a deluxe food place at Yonge Street and Bloor on the SE corner. It is called Mark McKuen and, like Pusateris, is one of the finest food emporiums in the city. At Mark McKuen they serve Refuel smoothies and, when I am in that part of the city, I always drop by for a Refuel smoothie. My personal favorite is called Magical Matcha and it is very nutritious, containing both kale and spinach, along with mango and coconut water and, I believe, several other healthy ingredients, including matcha and cashews. Simply the best smoothies in the city and I have tried them all.
Worst acai bowl I have ever tasted!!!! It doesn't have any acai in it, most of the thing was frozen strawberries and it tasted awful! I never write reviews, EVER but this was so bad and not worth any $$$$$
Freshest and healthiest juice options that one can possibly get. Loved it!
