Its a really cool 70s vibe, Friendly owners, generous portions of food. I had Ginger Chicken and Chicken fried rice, it was delicious!!!Food: 4/5

Very good food and friendly helpful service. Their food is delicious and tasty with actually chunks of meat unlike others. You won't regret eating here.
Very bland, Dry and lots of stuff is definitely not made in house. Wouldn't recommend going if you want good Chinese food. Made me and my wife throw up The irony of the fortune cookie though.

My 14 year old son Ben and I went for dinner on Friday night we both loved it! Ben kept saying it was probably the best Chinese food he'd ever had, and I couldn't agree more. We had the diner for 2 on the menu and added An order good golden chicken with it, lots of left overs! Great food! and great service.
They have amazing options and the food is to die for! The staff are very friendly and helpful! 10/10 would order there again!
Very pleasant and helpful wait staff. Food not so much. Looked delicious. Fresh and plentiful. But sadly lacking in any flavour. Dry breaded veal was a few little specks of meat in a ball of dough. So disappointed. It was as if chef forgot to put in any seasoning. If it had been seasoned properly I would have rated high other than the dough balls, but would I go back? Probably not.
Finally introduced someone to this amazing place. Asked how they get the batter so perfect every time. We were told it's home made recipe. Whatever it is, it's perfect. We like to try new places and this was by far the best choice. I googled diner while in portage la prairie craving onion rings and this came up. It was meant to be. Lemon chicken is amazing. Everything is amazing. Even stir fried rice that i don't usually bother with was very good. A meal in itself. Most have too much breading but not here. It's perfect and presentation was beautiful. Not greasy either. Perfect. We don't live in portage but have decided it will be a monthly trip. Going back tomorrow. Hoping it's open.
