I rarely comment but this one deserves. I was very happy for my two nights stay. I met the owner, CJ and Jeff and other staff over emails. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I injured my elbow and knee, Jeff was interrupted for his steak dinner but gave me first aid immediately. The environment is great located by the lake easy to launch the boat. Cabin is surrounded by trees which makes me feel like right into nature mama. Cabin is fully equipped I saw grills for every cabin if you can catch some walleyes… simple, old but very clean. It’s not a fancy hotel room anyway but it’s well maintained and comfortable. Heater and hot water makes life easier. I think I have everything I need for a cabin vacation. Thanks you guys. Hope I can back soon again
Stopped off as we were camping in the area and happened upon the bakery. There were 2 signs on the door..one that listed Friday's hours as open @ 7am and a sign about a fundraiser. I asked the lady who walked out if they were open and she curtly told me no..they had a fundraiser and signed heavily at me. I explained there were 2 signs so it was confusing. The next day we stopped by as I wanted to give the business another chance and the sign with the daily hours was taken down and only the previous days fundraiser sign was there. Unfortunate as I would have liked to support a local business.
Always like going here. The food is good and priced ok. Nice scene of the lake
