We had a wonderful time at the RedTail Landing Golf Club this past weekend! We booked the convention hall for my daughters 21st birthday and it was an excellent space, we hosted around 150 guests and there was ample room for everyone to dance, eat and enjoy! Our amazing Chef Chamika helped us tremendously with the menu and getting all the details of the event into place, he truly helped us turn our ideas for the party into a reality! The manager Francis also gave us his utmost support before, during and after the celebration, with the set up and even helped us with hosting the speeches for our daughter and her friends. Our party was a great success thanks to everyone at RedTail Landing, we couldn’t have done it without you! My family and I highly recommend this club for anyone wishing to have a genuine team to work with and to have the party of your dreams come to life. Thank you so much!
Played Red Tail for the first time today, took my dad out for a round for his 65th birthday and could not have been more pleased, the greens were a tad slow but were damn near perfect for this time of year and will definitely be back.
Always great condition, good driving range. No complaints here, being on the side of the highway you will hear road noise during a large portion of your round. Don’t be discouraged by that it’s not horrible. Good course especially if you’re a CCT member. Always happy to play here. Stay on the fairway though or you’re in for some tough shots.
Retail Landing Golf Club is the place to go. We have been holding corporate events at their location for many years and they have never disappointed! They are quick to act, courteous and professional. If you are interested in hosting an event in the Edmonton area I highly recommend the Club.
I hadn't played RedTail in about 4 years and while some things about the golf experience had since changed, my round yesterday afternoon Sept. 8 was exceptional. From the greeter at the bag drop, the driving range best in the city bar none, the food and service in the club house, and of course the conditions of the golf course itself were all top-notch. I had heard that RedTail wasn't in the best shape the last couple years, but whatever issues they may have had were definitely taken care of when I played yesterday. Again, the course was in phenomenal shape. I especially enjoyed the chat I had with the head pro prior to my round about the removal of the GPS systems in their carts the only downside to the experience and some of the details about the business of golf. That was both fun and interesting. All in all, this was five-stars all the way!
Fab golf course. Its having a few rennovations at the moment Aug 2018 due to ice damage on the course but they discount the price of a round for it. Service was excellent at all stages. If you're doing a round, you have unlimited range and putting balls to practice with before and after plus use of a power cart. Beer cart comes around frequently enough that you can keep a buzz going! Easy access from the highway too. 5 starts for sure.
Celebrated a Christmas party in the banquet hall. I haven't golfed here. It was a nice venue and had really tasty foods for the party. Great staff and good service.
I always enjoy playing this course - it's something different, a unique test of your game that you won't get elsewhere in the city. Playing here on a windy day was probably the most challenging round I've played in a decade. Conditions have always been decent when I've played here. Not bad, but definitely not immaculate either. They've also got a great practice facility. The driving range faces East and is great for practicing in the evenings. If I had to make a complaint, it would be the loud drone of Highway 2 on some holes. Hardly something you can hold against the course, but something to be aware of.
Lots of bunkers and hills, not much in the way of water or trees. Fairways are open and well maintained as are the greens and tee boxes. Traffic noise is heavy, but that is not the courses fault. Still a little overpriced for this course.
The course is in absolutely fantastic condition. The winter kill that happened last year has been completely resolved and you would be hard pressed to find a better course in the area for this time of year. Great food, great condition.
