It's in a new building, very clean and fresh. It was easy to park and the food came very fast. Good service very nice waitress we had. The food is just ok. It's not what I expected. The portion is large. I won't be going back for its taste. It's not authentic, therefore I couldn't find the justice of paying here more than other Vietnamese places which taste a lot better.
Tried Red Satay for the 1st time and I can't believe how long it's taken me to finally try it out! Tried the Red Satay Spicy Noodle Pho and it turns out when you order it for takeout they give you all the ingredients separated so you're able to assemble it yourself. This was actually a great idea and I was able to have 2 meals out of it. The broth was very tasty and spicy enough but not too much. The chicken was very tender and the spice on the side was a good touch. All the ingredients were fresh and you could really taste the quality. I will definitely return and try many other meals they offer. The only reason I give 4 stars for atmosphere is because it was very packed and loud inside so it would not be the place I would want go if I would want to have a quiet evening or conversation while dinning with someone.
Went to Red Satay in Dieppe for the first time and tried the Jenny Bowl and the Pho Soup, not only was the service great but I was extremely impressed with the quality and well seasoned food. Also i gotta mention we really enjoyed that the portions were so nice that we got take out boxes for a midnight snack! Can't wait to go back and see what we can try next!
We both tried the spicy and traditional pho. SOUPerb! Their dairy free Taro Icecream is also delish, not too sweet but flavorful! Yvonne was so nice to allow us to add something to our order even after the kitchen closed. Excellent food and service, no wonder the place is packed.
Best place for a wonton soup, reasonable price, big portion and service was excellent, not a place if you are in a rush tho as they were very busy when i was there.
The best Vietnamese restaurant in town, hands on. The staff, and the owner have been so kind and nice to us when we were hosting a 20 people event today! Highly recommend for the best tasting high quality food, and service.Recommended dishesSpicy Noodle Pho, Jenny's Special
This restaurant is one of our favorite in Dieppe. The food is AMAZING every time and the atmosphere is relax. The staff/service is always on point too. We never had a bad experience at this location and we went plenty of times. I highly recommend this place!
Very slow service, get there at around 17h20, did not get app until 18h05, waitress was good and friendly. Have one Pho bo soup with shrimp and chicken, one of the shrimp tasted off, Have to spit it, could not finish soup, about a quarter left, let the waitress know and she came back and said the kitchen find it weird and nothing else, get the bill. Won't be back again. Disappointed and very poor customer service.
Very decent Vietnamese Chinese food. The broth in the pho noodles might be a tad sweet for some however it is still authentic tasting. The bbq chicken is perfectly smoked and tender marinated. Medium grain steamed Vietnamese rice perfectly cooked. I wish pork and basil was included in the shrimp rice rolls as that would make them really scrumptious but I guess to keep the price reasonable they make them with one protein only. Would also be a nice touch to have actual roasted peanut pieces in the sauce. The weakest dish is the deep-fried spring rolls, they are obviously machine made and from frozen. The dipping sauce was real with fish sauce.
I was excited to try this Viatnamese Resto - Red Satay in Dieppe for I had read lots of good reviews. I knew it from the start that it will be a disaster dining in that restaurant… First, we were not welcomed nor greeted by the woman in the counter near the entrance and we paved our way to be seated on our own she did not ushered us to the dinning area. Unlike with the other customers they were gracely escorted. Second, while waiting for someone to attend to us, we had observed that the newly arrived consumers were attended first with complete services. Third, our orders were taken after approximately 25 minutes and our orders came approximately 1 hour. And Lastly, the picture that I had posted on this review is worth 19CAD without tax…. Dang those shrimps are familiar to me. I used them on my fried rice, those are the frozen ones that you can buy in walmart worth 11 CAD per bag. NOT WORTH THE WAIT.
