Red Rock

We stumbled across this hidden gem this evening after we realized just about everywhere else was closed because it's New Years. Very friendly service, food was fresh and hot. Nice (small) salad bar and delicious homemade potato soup. We will definitely be back!

This place is terrible. Is there a zero star? Pros: *Nice hostess *Quick seating Cons: * The steak was not 12-14oz. as advertised *I ordered a Rib Eye steak for $30 but recieved a new york sirloin * I ordered a med rare steak and the chef had the audacity to serve a BURNED steak! The chef literally put a burned steak on my plate and expected me to eat it. I still paid for my meal even though I was disappointed but this restaurant is just pathetic.

Wait staff was friendly and efficient which is the only reason I gave more than 1 star. We ate a late breakfast today so we just stopped for a quick snack. There was less than a handful of customers there when we arrived. Getting our food was anything but quick. Waited 40+ minutes for our food (1 order of fried cheese curds & a children's cheeseburger with fries). Watched 3 other tables walk out it was taking so long. Finally, we told them after waiting 40 minutes that we were going to have to leave. The waitress ran to the back and I'm pretty sure I heard her drop the cheese curds then. They came up a few minutes later and the burger followed a few minutes after that. At this point, we decided it would be best for us to eat in the car (which we were trying to avoid) so that we could actually make it to our destination tonight. Food was good, but not worth the wait. Really left a bad taste in my mouth and they really didn't seem too concerned with how long it took. I heard them giving people free drinks for waiting, but since we were drinking water, we just had to suck it up. Waiting for food isn't how I like to spend time on my vacation. I'll definitely never stop here again.

If you are in a hurry don't stop here. You will be waiting for your food. Linda was a great waitress and went out of her way to make a drink for my children that wasn't on the menu. Since out wait was so long we were allowed to make a trip to the salad bar. Salad bar was very minimal but enough to curb our hunger until our food arrived. Once the food came it was very good. Walleye, a Patty melt, popcorn chicken, cheeseburger, and popcorn shrimp. I would definitely stop here again.
