Fun bistro with nice variety of food, cocktails, wines, and relaxed atmosphere. The bartender/waiter was super friendly and quick to take our order and get drinks. The drinks were great balance of flavor and strength and the food was tasty. The mushroom soup was delicious, and the seasonal drinks featured a lot of grapefruit juice which happens to be my favorite. Glad we stopped by here, will be back for sure. They have some outdoor seating but we ate inside. We came for lunch on a weekday and easily got a table. Lots of parking and easy to get to.
We ordered the cheese platter, soup of the day, Airline Heritage Chicken, Blackened Shrimps and Grit and a Margarita. The cheese and soup are really good. I especially love the cheese platter. Everything is so balanced. The entrées are very salty. My husband had the blackened shrimps and grits and it was too salty that he could not eat. However, service is exceptional. The staff frequently checked on us and asked for our feedback and happily remade the salty dish for us so they made up for the salty dish. The remade version is perfect. I don’t know if they just have salty food in general or if it’s just an accident. I would definitely double check and ask them to check the saltiness the next time I dine in here. Smoky Margarita is also very good. The restaurant is in a plaza shopping center so parking is very easy and free.
Red Cork Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants since I've moved up. The staff are all friendly and make amazing recommendations. The drinks are just the right amount of strong and delicious. The mezcal margarita is great. I've not been disappointed with the food yet. I had the hummus plate appetizer previously and got a broccolini and mixed salad with cheese more recently. Both were fantastic. I've had the chicken roulade the first time and the lobster Mac and cheese special more recently. Both were delicious. The blueberry crumble cake for dessert is to die for. The ice cream sundae with almond roca was also quite good
Well, we found another 10/10. Red Cork is the perfect little hole in the wall that reminds me of some of my favorite places our family went when I was growing up. The staff and the owner Adrian greeted us with such warmth and took very good care of us. They also made some amazing recommendations on apps, entrees, wine & dessert. The Caesar salad is one of the richest and best around. The wild boar fettuccine Bolognese was divine. The chicken parmesan is exactly what you are looking for if it's one of your favorites we got it with the accompanying pasta in a gorgonzola sauce. Their wine pairing suggestion was spot on and the delicious dessert a decadent pumpkin spice cream cheese roll with cinnamon ginger ice cream was just made fresh by their in-house pastry chef. This place definitely deserves your attention and we will definitely be coming here on the regular.
Stumbled upon this place while looking for lunch. Such a pleasant surprise!! Great vibes and great food. Had the BLTA and jalapeño corn chowder not spicy. And a nice chat with the server/bartender Abby. The food was much better than expected and had a pleasantly diverse menu. Definitely would come here again when in the area.
Seriously elevated food. It's unlike any strip mall restaurant I've ever eaten at. Don't let the location fool you, the food is excellent. It's clear you're getting something thoughtfully crafted by a chef with a great sense of flavor. The shrimp and grits are my favorite and my wife loves the wild boar bolognese - you can't go wrong at this place.
We stopped there for lunch. A tiny place, cute cozy atmosphere. Our waitress is very friendly snd nice. We had sandwiches, salad and open-sandwitches. Foods are amazing also. Especially I loved the open-sandwitches. Grilled tomatoes added nice touch of the taste. We loved to come back and try different menu sometimes.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant because of delicious food which is important, but more importantly are the very special people who treat us like family. We try to go at least once a week.
Food was good. The service was decent. They got waiting on me was courteous and quick. The best thing I ate was the chocolate mousse. That was downright tasty. I'm only giving 4 stars because they charged me $9 for 3 soda waters with a splash of cranberry juice.
First time here and must say I look forward to returning. We ordered a ceasar salad, chicken parmigiana, and steak coullete accompanied with garlic herb prawns. The ceasar was fresh and crisp with a housemade dressing that leaned slightly towards the lemony side. The chicken parmigiana was crispy and prepared with fresh ingredients not a jar sauce. The steak coullette was prepared perfectly to order and had a nice crispy char on the outside and juicy on the inside. It was accompanied with smashed potatoes and grilled broccolini. Altogether the meal was delicious and we easily cleaned our plates. Don't let the strip mall location fool you the service and food are excellent.
