Real Fake Meats

Super cute spot! They have an incredible selection of vegan cheeses and meats. I enjoyed the lox bagel. The donair tasted too much like coconut for our taste, but they were so nice to exchange it for another dish when we returned it. Would definitely come again and try more of their products!

This is how you vegan. Everything at Real Fake Meats is great. The rib sandwich is messy perfection, the burgers rival anything else out there on the market. Staff are always friendly and helpful, food is decently priced, generously proportioned and, simply, excellent. Somewhere to feed your soul as well as your stomach Vegans rejoice! At last somewhere to buy burgers, meat alts and cheeses without also contributing to the profits of corporations cashing in on veganism while they simultaneously promote and profit from the global exploitation of animals.

The things they pull off at Real Fake Meats are truly astounding. Everything is so good and often better than their animal-product counterparts. The poutine in particular is shockingly delicious with perfect gravy.

A vegan butcher! We tried the tzatziki wrap and the veggie wrap. The veggie wrap was a bit too sweet for us. Tzatziki one was fresh. We also tried the buffalo chicken nugget, was not a fan of the onion powder taste but with the ranch dressing, it was a good appetizers.

Best vegan/gluten free food I think I've ever had. Flavours and textures are 10/10.

This place is a true gem and officially my favorite place to eat in Nova Scotia! The food’s delectable, varied, and very decently priced. The staff/owner are simply the friendliest and most fun. I discovered them Yesterday and went 3 times since. I 100% recommend!

Best vegan restaurant in Canada! Real Fake Meats goes above and beyond for their customers. They pay so much attention to detail, taste, portion and affordability. We treat ourselves once a week to their delicacies and have not been disappointed once. They blow our minds and taste buds away every time. Their weekly special is always exciting and delicious. The kindest staff and best food! WE LOVE RFM!!

So excited there's a vegan version of donair in Halifax! It was so juicy and delicious. Absolute must try. Also got some coconut "bacon", nice and crunchy! Hope to come back someday :

Absolutely love RFM - they have so many goodies sauces, dips, vegan meats, cheezes you can take home and use to take your meals to the next level, as well as so much fresh made grub that never seems to make it home!! To top it off, the owners and staff are all SO lovely!

Absolutely amazing place with friendly service. We were thrilled to discover this gem on our trip to Halifax this summer. Delicious and well priced. Back at home and we keep dreaming of the great food - please open more locations across Canada!!! You make it easy and a pleasure to be more socially responsible.
