Real Canadian Superstore

First time I've been to the Campbell River Superstore. It being a Monday night around 600pm, I found that there was hardly anyone in the store. I suppose most people had done there shopping before then or would be after supper. Anyway, this place is big! Nice large aisles, well laid out and very clean! I was shopping for a small ham and found the one I wanted, but the label was missing or torn off. So I asked the young lady doing orders to help out and she took off like a shot to get a new label. Fantastic! I would certainly drop in next time to shop.

I'd like to start by saying the staff involved here were very helpful and apologetic, however I waited for someone to come to the seafood counter for ~30mins was probably on break with no one to cover for them, then getting up front and the bar code couldn't scan, and no manager was available to override the process. I ended up leaving without the seafood because there wasn't a way to pay for it. I know staffing shortages exist, but to the owner, it's hard to shop when you can't even pay for the food with the money in your hand.

Place is an absolute joke an I mean in management heard for real awful stories about how the employees are treated an that management is an utter joke even spoke with a few people who work there after over hearing their conversation An it kinda shows in more ways than one. An the only reason this location still exists is the employees that work here well the longer term ones.. An interal investigation should be done on how this store is poorly ran.

Best selection in CR. If Superstore doesn't have what you need it's unlikely anyone else will. Prices are still decent here.

It's one of the biggest supermarket in Campbell River I would say. Has everything on it. Plenty of parking spaces and staff are super friendly.

I like the new changes and up grading very helpful people all around especially people from the back bringing in new stock hard job getting those boxes off the trucks I'm glad to know someone who works hard with no complaints hopefully soon someone will acknowledge his extra hard work

Huge selection of food, clothes, pharmaceuticals and drinks. Very good supermarket with a great organic section.

not a safe place for workers, some people may seem different on the outside then on the inside. store needs investigation on managers

Always so damn busy but it has a lot of great valued products. Know about pricing for what you are shopping for as sometimes they are definitely a lot more expensive. That being said the convenience of not having to go anywhere else is a huge bonus. Vegetables and fruits are of a high quality.

Every single trip I've made to Superstore in the last 4 weeks, I have come home with something already moldy, or something expiring before it's best before date. I store all food as is recommended. I have no idea why your food is molding in its package before the best before date. It's happened on every occasion.
