What a quaint and cute little place in Foam Lake! You feel like you are hanging out in his own personal dining room while he makes you delicious food fusioned with his own culture. You can taste that the food is cooked with love. Glad we found RD Express on our Sunday morning cruise through Foam Lake!
Mom and I stopped in for lunch and were glad we did! The food was served quickly, piping hot, and in generous portions. The bacon in the chicken bacon wrap could have been crunchier, but was filled with quality chicken and veggies. The butter chicken pasta the perfect comfort food, not spicy, but creamy and delicious. Both dishes were flavourful and very filling. The taro bubble tea included lychee popping boba, which was a nice suprise! The staff was friendly and would check in on how we were. The atmosphere was quaint with lovely flowers outside, comfortable seating inside with homey decor and a tv to entertain kids if you bring them. Would definitely recommend!
Had the butter chicken very tasty. They even gave me free rice when he saw I had finished the naan bread. Will be back.
Stopped in for some soft serve ice cream with my cousin for his anniversary.nWe were treated like family by the owner. He served our ice cream in a waffle bowl fresh and crispy. It was a real treat.nThen he asked if we wanted some mango bubbles added to the top. I never had that before. Great choice with the strawberry preserve already on the ice cream it is a very appealing combination.nIt was such a great treat I decided to try a strawberry bubble tea with the mango bubbles fir the trip home.nLet me say I barely got out of Foam Lake, before it was gone and wished I had ordered another one.nIf you have not been in yet, it is a must stop, on these days of excessive heat.nStay cold and soft..
My wife and I stopped in for lunch today. The food was great, reasonably priced, the owners are very nice and friendly. I recommend everyone trying this food!
