RBC Royal Bank

Horrible bank horrible customer service !!!! Never stand in the line less then a hr as they never have more then 2 tellers open . My paycheque is from this branch yet I can’t access it unless I go to a teller if I deposit it thru the atm they hold it for ten days and it’s not a new account such a joke will be changing banks 2 yrs is too many with them

No staff and manager hides in office instead of helping staff on frontline or taking customers. Prepare for hour wait for basic banking.

I went in to pay a quick bill, being the only one in line I thought it would be quick today. I stood there for 15 minutes while 3 wickets were open and plugged up and didn't open any more to accommodate the Costco line that developed behind me. I ended up leaving having other things to do other than have a staring contest with the rbc employees that were just hanging out behind the counter doing nothing. Unacceptable service.

This truly is the worst branch ever. Everything comes from the top and the acting branch manager is the problem. He accuses you when his staff are inept at their jobs. I had to threaten to go to the ombudsman to finally get someone to go and dig for my new credit card. And small wonders never cease, they found it. All this after 5 months of constant drama and claims it was not there. He also claimed the staff had called me to let me know it was there. No such call was ever received and no voicemail was left. Here 3+ years later the same again. The credit card has been sent to the branch for pickup and no phone call. Absolutely horrible customer service.

So the population of Penticton has grown and is still growing rapidly yet you geniuses at head office thought it was a smart idea to close the second branch in town and not open up more wickets and get rid of a business teller. I am leaving this bank thanks for making the decision for me RBC. YOUR A JOKE
