The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I opened an account in September, before I did, I asked if I could use a certain browser and if I required an app to use their services. I got a green light for what I use and everything was fine until they did an update. The last 2 months I have not been able to access my online banking through 4 devices, one being a brand new iPad that has never been used. They could not get me in on any device. I'm immune compromised and I can not just wander into a public place without risk. I don't appreciate the incompetence and disrespect I received from the staff at this branch and through customer service portal. I even suggested to close my account and re-open it to start at a clean slate to which they told me that's not the problem. They blame cookies and cache, but that's not the issue especially on a brand new device, nor do any of my devices save any of that. I'm very tech savvy, unlike the tech support RBC has, I came up with the solutions many times to which they refused to try. After only 5 months, I'm switching all my accounts again. These people should be fired, this is not acceptable behavior.
all I simply wanted to know is if Rbc is open on Saturday mornings or not this stupid AI thing wouldn’t answer me and it ran around in circles and it was extremely frustrating. I simply want to know if I can go to the bank in the morning or not
It’s not every day I visit the bank and leave feeling happier than when I went in. Fast service, great attitude, and cool tunes made all the difference. A patient gentleman named Dawson made my life a hundred times easier with a burden all bank tenders dread, small cash, and not once was there a sigh, mutter, or complaint. Happy to have a place that’s just as headstrong and determined as I am for me to bank at, thanks folks at RBC!
Experience was ok. Lined up early. My concerns were somewhat addressed although i felt slightly dismissed. Still, I'd come from a different bank and immediately remembered why I changed banks.
Called the mortgage specialist and the manager out on their mistakes and lies so they had me debanked.Closed all my accounts except the mortgage the mortgage specialist had approved my wife and l for.
