After having some unexplained fees being withdrawn from my fiancees bank account, and no help with the customer service telephone line, we went into the branch and dealt with Sally, who not only solved all of our concerns but also graciously refunded the unexpected overdraft fee that my fiancee incurred as well.nnSally is a definite asset to this branch, and her commitment to customer service and resolution is second to none.
I see that I am not the only one that has had some issues with this bank in recent history. I have dealt with this financial institution for probably 40 years plus. No ones cares any more sign of the times. Moving across the street. Nothing but good things to say about the cibc.
Poor service, 3 people, 3 different stories and 1 very big hassle to get remove a name from a bank account and might take another 3 weeks. I have banked there all my life starting to think I should cancel all accounts and go to another bank because no one has a clue what they are doing.
This bank is a joke. There customer service is horrible. They can't even close an account right. It took me 3 years. If I could give a 0 ,I would.
I would recommend to bank anywhere else than this branch! Over the past several years of dealing with thier management i can honestly tell you this bank is beyond incompetent and at the very least have extremely questionable practices. The bank manager is a bold face liar and should not be trusted. Again i would caution anyone to not deal at that bank. On a positive note the front end staff is good. The manager is a lying spineless wiesel.
