RBC Royal Bank

Brutal service. I had a 5 thousand dollar wire transfer go thru and they would not release it to me. Said I had to wait a cpl days. Ummmmm did I not pay 25 bucks to insure that it was there immediately??? Stupid. They called the cops on me cause I was swearing while talking and had me removed. I then went to a different branch and took all the money out. I then asked my friend who is a banker why this would happen?? He said that the workers get in trouble for the more money they hand out. It's about taking as much as possible and giving very little. Crooks!

I experienced a higher level of professionalism at any branch I went in to, than I encountered when dealing with Vancity credit union. Even the services over the phone makes me feel respected, regardless of how much money is in my account. To me it appears that RBC invested in hiring skilled representatives, then training them to offer a professional image of this top financial institution, and that is a good marketing strategy.

I've recently moved from Coquitlam to Burnaby, but still going to use this brunch - the staff is very professional.

There is a counter woman that's really funny, Always go to her and she's nice, funny and fast. Only concern is that line wait is usually long
