First time here and the experience is amazing!! Staff are nice and friendly, service is fast, food tastes really fresh and with good seasoning, their garlic sauce, chef kiss!! We ordered the mix plate and beef shawarma plate. Portion is also very generous for the price, will definitely be back for the shawarma wrap! The music can be intense though lol! And bring your own water if you don’t want to order something to drink, not sure if the server forgot or they just don’t serve water. But overall it’s a 5/5 experience!!!
My mom and I both got the falafel plate. The food is the best bang for your buck, and it's great quality! One spot a lot of places get wrong is really dry falafel, at Ray's they weren't like that all, they were just right! Their hummus was delicious! They peel their chickpeas, which is a game changer, it makes it smooth. They have updated their decor since I was last in, it looks very nice!
The best Lebanese food in Halifax. A bouquet of bursting flavours and textures! The owners pride themselves on using only the highest quality ingredients and traditional family recipes. I’ve been out of town for a bit and coming back to this place felt like home! Come check it out and you will be pleased.
I really liked Ray's in Bayer's Lake . A friend of mine suggested it & we went and both enjoyed . It was my first visit . I was unfamiliar with some of the menu items and ingredients and the two staff members were very helpful and informative , also friendly and full of cheer and good energy . They offered substitutes due to a few food allergies I have . My food was really great , although the lamb was a bit fatty on almost every piece , the rest of the meal absolutely was delicious . I Can't wait to go back & try more .
You get more than you pay for! Food is delicious, I got the chicken shawarma wrap and it was better than I could have anticipated. The wraps were massive! My friend and I were getting the same thing, but each of us took off some toppings, and the staff had no issues remembering which was which. Service was friendly and quick! We took out, however the interior dining area looked very nice. And their garlic sauce is so tasty. Not a single complaint. I would highly recommend! You can get a lot of food for a great price. The garlic sauce is great, the chicken is well seasoned, and the salad and falafel tastes great! One recommendation would be to have softer potatoes because they are a bit dry and cold. All in all its been a good experience! Been there twice and will return!! Parking: Easy to park
We had shawarma plates and kebab plates, takeout, about 5 times. The staff were very friendly, the restaurant itself was very clean, the quality of the food was always great, the price was good for what you received. We did not eat-in, but there were lots of comfortable seats and a pleasant informal atmosphere. They have a hot-line of food long counter that allows you to personalize your meal as it is being prepared. *Next time we go there I will upload pics. Parking: Lots of free parking
Best Lebanese food I've ever had! Everything was so fresh and delicious, so much flavour and they give you huge portions! We definitely had leftovers for the next day. The staff was super friendly and gave us amazing service, food came out within minutes! They also serve alcohol which is a nice bonus. Amazing environment, I will definitely be coming back again!
We placed a large order for a “working lunch” at our office. The food was delicious everyone kept raving about how tasty it was, the service was excellent, and the price was great. We’ll definitely be ordering from Ray’s for future work lunches!
We got the Lebanese food from Ray’s through SkipTheDishes. It was our second time to get their food, never been to Rays but their food always surprised me!!! This time we got 2 can dine meal, it came with all the grills, giant shrimp plate and chicken plate there’s a couple options for the meat everything on the plate was so tasty! Love their lamb, chicken kabob, shrimp, potatoes and hummus!!! Their yogurt on the shrimp was so good!! Definitely will order again and again or even go visit the restaurant. Can’t wait to try more food there!
