Can’t beat the value of this food. It’s gone through a couple name changes over the years, but still makes food that makes us happy. Only negative is that the samosas have started to shrink in size, but minor. Good neighborhood gem.
Have been trying their food since they were Waraich meats. The quality of food has taken a steep decline in last year. In today's order for "Chole Bhature" I advised the lady who probably is a chef while placing the order to make the bhatura nicely as last time it was too crunchy - not like they should be. But they disappointed again. This time I called back right away and the gentleman on the phone said all they could do is "try their best" and that it could be 50% crunchy but not all. WoW!! Moreover it was cold even though I was there as per time I was asked to be there. Not something you hear from a restaurant been in place for years. Not sure if management has changed recently as I had great experience when the lady owner was at the shop managing the operations. Would not recommend
The food was really excellent, good taste and good price .I recommend
Me and my wife we eat butter chiken it's 10out of 10 whit Nan and the price was very reasonable definitely we will come back.Food: 5/5
I got delivery from here recently due to the current situation. In terms of food, I tried their Fish Pakora, Butter Chicken, Goat Curry, Garlic Naan, and Coconut Naan. The Fish Pakora, Butter Chicken, and Coconut Naan stood out the most. The Fish Pakora was well sized and had a thin crispy layer of breading with a lot of fish. This breading to meat fish ratio and the flavouring/dipping made it really nice. The Butter Chicken was very fragrant and satisfying, unlike watery ones at some places. The Coconut Naan had a decent amount of coconut and it’s more of a value item as this item at other places tends to be more expensive for a similar quality. As for the other two items - the garlic naan was mediocre and the goat curry had nice pieces of meat but more watery especially compared to the butter chicken
Rasam's place is amazing! I order take out at least 2 times a week. The food is authentic Indian, delicious and flavorful and you don't feel like it was unhealthy as some Indian curries are. The lunch order is less than $10.00 for all you can eat and they have vegetarian and non-veg food split up in two sections making it very clear what's what. The owners and staff are extremely attentive and you can tell they have a passion for cooking good food. The restaurant ambiance is peaceful and clean. Be sure to check out the regular menu for a variety of delicious Indian food. I will definitely be coming back with friends and family.
They used to have one of the best chicken curry's around, but a while after the restaurant's name changed, their chicken curry recipe went downhill. I used to get it once a week, but now maybe once every couple of months to see if they've fixed their recipe, but nope just ordered it today for lunch. It has too much of a tomato taste to it, which it never had before. Their butter chicken is also hit and miss. Sometimes overly sweet and sometimes perfect with the right level of spice. The days the recipe is right, you don't want to stop eating. Fortunately the price is very reasonable, especially if all you want is a one person combo meal. If they had some consistency with how they make their hot items, I'd give them a 5/5.
The woman at the front desk, can’t take order’s properly!!! Extremely slow. Pls
This recent staff has slowed down, service is slow, staff don’t get the order right sometimes.
Owners were very nice..food was very tasty..a place to try..Food: 5/5
