Charming diner with very friendly servers and great food. We got the Rapid Valley Deluxe breakfast and it was great! Our server, Karen, was amazing! Food photos taken after we started eating, so not the best representation!
First time at the restaurant with a friend, very friendly staff, food was great. Had the Bean and Bacon soup was really good. Bought the peanut butter cookies as part of the go to snacks/meals offered. Will be back again.
Refrying in burnt oil = pathetic food taste + vomits + no efforts to make the customer at ease We visited with our friend on her recommendation as she frequently visits for fish and chips, so we went in with a lot of expectations and got highly disappointed. Everything we ordered was refried in burnt oil. On mentioning the burnt food to the server, the server also agreed that while taking it out it noticed something different in the color. But that doesn't that raise a bell in server's mind to get it replaced? Can't comment on taste as anything ordered was just ordinary or sub-standard. I had no plans to write a review but our kids and my sister vomited last night, thus a long review.
We were here for breakfast. Huge portions, unlimited coffee, the omelette was staffed with lots of veggies. The place is easily accessible. It has a large parking, a small pastry shop and a gas station. The only problem is that the bathroom wasn’t clean.
Updating my review from our most recent experience. Sorry rapid valley this is our last meal here. This place used to be a gem, the food has been unacceptable the last couple of times. The yorkshire was cold literally. It came right out of the fridge and onto our plates. The gravy we recieved was solid, not a liquid. I have no idea why this was served. The mashed potatoes were cold and dry, we couldn't eat them. That's why we asked for gravy. The desserts were very old and microwaved to "freshen" them up. Gross and a waste of $100. I'm not one to write bad reviews for small local owned restaurants but this place sucks. Original review: Good place to stop for a family meal. The inside has been renovated over the past couple years. Our experiences here are never perfect, but we are always happy for what it is. The servers are friendly and food tastes like something you would make at home. On our last visit, the soups were really good and always are our spaghetti was overcooked & almost mushy, pizza was excellent. Desserts were very stale and the cake wasn't edible. I would have given this visit a 3 star, but kept it as a 4 because most of our visits are better.
Amazing Service.. Really good and Fresh food. Really friendly staff. Rotini pasta was delicious..
Dinner later on Saturday nite When asked, our waitress recommended Chicken Club This sounded good, ...but turned out to be 2 overcooked chicken fingers with a slice of cheap processed cheese, a piece of tasteless, undercooked bacon & limp lettuce on a stale hamburger bun served with too much mayo & barely warm fries. Disappointed for sure.
The best sandwich that I ever had! Also, amazing options for who is gluten free! The people that work there are very friendly!
Fast and friendly service great food in the middle of a small country town We were just passing by from 3 weeks of traveling in the east coast and needed gas we stopped and thought of having a rest and coffee but what we saw inside is what we were looking for a really country cooking Thank you Rapid Valley
Best breakfast ever! Good taste, good portion size, all home made, good price! And the service was excellent. Considering the difficult staffing issues we are all experiencing during Covid, it did not show there at all. Best service in a long time!! Can’t wait to go back !
