Story

Randy's Take-Out is the home of Randy's patties.

Randy’s first opened its doors to the public in 1979 and has been producing patties for the people ever since. Founded by three families from Jamaica, Randy’s has always strived to create authentic Jamaican cuisine using only the finest quality ingredients. We are proud to say that we are still family owned and operated.

Randy’s has been a part of the Eglinton-Oakwood neighbourhood (Toronto’s “Little Jamaica”) for over 25 years and has been an active supporter of many community events and organizations.

We are located at 1569 Eglinton Avenue West.

Tried the beef & jerk chicken patties.nnMy favourite so far was the beef patty, it was stuffed & very tasty.nnIt’s a must try if you enjoy eating patties!
I love Randy’s patties and try to go a few times per month. I usually buy a box at a time and freeze them. Then defrost and reheat, when I get the craving, in my air fryer. They come out perfectly crisp. I usually go for the regular beef patty, but their jerk chicken flavour is incredible too! Thank you guys, keep up the good work!
It has been years since I got patties here. My brother had mentioned to me that they were now being sold at Superstore; I was excited since I live out of the area. I bought a box and they were TERRIBLE!!! Threw the box out and couldn’t finish eating it. Come to find out they were a different company using the Randy’s name I hope you guys do something about them soon to protect your customers that aren’t aware! Then I happen to find myself in this area of Toronto on other business and saw that they were a few min away; I was stoked!! I bought a single and a box to take back home. However, these are not like how they used to be and I have been eating these over 3 decades! The pasty and filling were different; filling wasn’t “wet” like the classic was, and it was full of spice with inadequate flavor. I was extremely disappointed. The woman servicing the front wasn’t very hospitable; not friendly and seemed irritated. I get it; people have off days, but unfortunately it occurred on my visit. Also, the price for a box is pretty outrageous a point for debate, but I know for a fact $32 a box is pricing out a ton of customers in this day and age. Hoping you guys can get these issues fixed, and look to revert whatever recipe changes you made, but with the current taste and pricing I wouldn’t return or recommend at this point in time. Rating 3 stars because they were still edible, service was fast not busy, and hoping my review can been seen as constructive criticism with an openness to review operations and improve.
Absolutely delicious! The beef patty was fresh, flaky, and packed with flavour. The customer service was exceptional; friendly and welcoming. It's easy to see why Randy's has been a Toronto favourite for so many years. Definitely worth the trip, and we'll be back!
First thing Saturday morning, we were the last in the initial opening rush but the line went fast. Our initial thoughts of the piping hot beef patties were way too goopy/runny. Messy to eat, but the flavour and spice worth it. Our go to has always been Allan's Pastries' spicy beef patties that are flanker but Randy's filling is tastier.
