Visited on a Saturday night with no reservation and it was full of reserved tables and people having fun. Quite busy but within ten minutes our group of six snagged a table! Thank goodness.nnI love the concept of the animateurs who can come around and curate the games you play to your liking. You just gotta ask! For example, one that requires more verbal communication, one that is fun for a group of six, etc. They are so knowledgeable in both games and two languages on top of that! I find it very organized and customized compared to board game cafes in Toronto. All of the food was quite delicious too actually; we ordered calamari, sweet potato fries, and nachos.nnA little problem we had was not getting chicken on our chicken nachos and getting billed for it but they quickly amended it when I showed them a photo of our chickenless nachos. It was also sometimes difficult to get game servers to notice we needed them I think we were told to flip our games over on the side of the table when we want to speak to them but raising a hand eventually worked.nnWould love to return here with more friends! Super fun time and great way to practise French or English with their bilingual sets of games!
This is an amazing place to play games and have a beer with friends and families.nThere’s a 9$ fee and a host will pick a game for you based on your preferences. We had an amazing time playing Onitama. It’s similar to chess but simpler.
We always have a wonderful experience at Randolph’s, no matter the location, but this time we visited Randolph Rosemont, and it was especially memorable for us. It was a very special occasion on our end, and we’re so happy we got to share such a beautiful moment there.nnThe service was amazing. The game hosts the wonderful people who help you discover and understand the board games! were super helpful and kind. The drinks, the food, the atmosphere, everything was just fantastic. Thank you!
Omg I had such a good time !!! It was wayyyyy better than I imagined !nI thought I’d go there, have to find a game, read the instructions and rules and by that time, already be ready to leave.nBut not at all !!! The place is big and bright, they have over a thousand games they said, and there’s a game master !nHe came to our table, I described the kind of games I like and he came back with ideas exactly like what I like ! He knew everything, set up the table for us and told us all the rules so we didn’t have to lose time reading them.nThey also have a few vegan food options.nMy only suggestion would be for them to have vegan baileys or creamette or something cause without it, there’s quite a few drinks they can’t make vegan.nnWould warmly recommend for dates or groups of friends !!! The services can be a bit slow depending how busy it is. All the staff is always nice.nThey have unique drinks/cocktails, and the food is good pub food.
