A cozy lil Ramen place right off the 404. Tons of selection for great warm dishes like rice or ramen. For the size of the ramen I did feel like it was a little too pricey for what it was, additional toppings are around 2$ each. In order to get a full ramen bowl with all toppings that are usually found in Toronto—your bill for one bowl of ramen would be about 30-35$. I understand inflation but damn this is a higher amount. The food was great but a little too salty for my taste, it was interesting to try the chicken broth ramen. A bowl is enough to fill you up but I felt a bit hungry afterwards. The included chicken skewer was nicely cooked on the outside, BUT was a little pink on the inside… All in all a good ramen place where I’ll be back, it may be pricey but it’s the only one in the area so pricing will be accepted.
Miso Ramen • Tori Paitan Ramen Ramen Yutaka specializes in chicken broth ramen which is perfect for those who don’t eat pork. But if you can’t eat ramen without pork, they have pork belly as add-on. What makes them stand out from the other ramen places is they serve their ramen with a chicken skewer instead of pork belly. It’s really delicious and perfectly cooked. The thick chicken broth was super rich and flavourful! Definitely can’t resist to drink up the soup. I had the miso ramen with miso infused chicken broth which was a bit salty for me in full strength. I asked the server if they have it with less miso in the soup and yes, I can order a lighter version next time. I love their ramen that’s with the perfect thickness and cooked perfectly with a chewy texture.
The deco is simple and feel warmth. Service is attentive. 3 stars not 5 because first if all, the restaurant is a bit messy. Their inventory is placed at the entrance, should be kept away from sight. You don’t get to choose thick or thin noodles and the broth has heavy seaweed and bamboo shoot taste because that’s what they add to the ramen. I got the clear broth with shio. I personally think it’s better than the thick white broth since the thick broth has a hint of sour taste. The clear broth has strong bonito flake taste, which I like. Egg is not complimentary, need to add $2.5 for it. A bit pricy. The menu looks very amateur. A lot of room for improvement as the restaurant is charging $18 before tax for a bowl of ramen.
Nice Ramen restaurant. 5 stars soup base and noodle - specially recommend Miso soup. Deep fried chicken is crispy and juicy. Clean and comfortable. Helpful and attentive staff. It would be great if portion is a bit bigger.
A perfect blend of everything Ramen. Great flavour, varied menu, visually appealing and delicious. The chicken broth base adds a soft but present essence, the ingredients and add-ons are all worthwhile. And well priced! Clean, well lit and welcoming....nice... Vegetarian options: Very accommodating Kid-friendliness: Totally welcoming... Parking: Many Wheelchair accessibility: Easy - at ground level
Absolutely amazing!!! Their black garlic A4 ramen is addictive! They have this amazing lunch 12-5pm combo deal, for just a small sum extra, you get to get Takoyaki, karaoke, and other classic beer food!!! Their soup base is authentic, best of all. their ramen are loaded!!!! Would totally go again. Ahhh what an experience
The chicken skewer is so much better than sliced pork/chicken that other ramen places have. The broth is flavourful and the noodles are very good too.Recommended dishesTori Paitan Ramen
Ramen Yutaka has the best ramen, I've tried so many Ajisen, Kinton, few other ones. We got the vegetarian and also the black oil. They recently renovated and the prices are same as before which is nice! Their portions are generous and always satisfying! We come back weekly!
Authentic Japanese ramen with fried chicken of high quality. The signature chicken broth was special and tasty.
I'm trying to RAMEN calm while telling you about this place Try to RAMENber what I tell you when you visit because I've got some tips to provide! Whenever I talk about this place, some have even described me to be a hopeless RAMENtic -[SPICY VEGETARIAN RAMEN] $17.99 creamy vegetarian broth, house made spicy sesame oil with marinated egg, black fungus, bamboo shoots, and wakame seaweed definitely spicy but nothing crazy in terms of being able to eat it haha - I didn't need to drink water after ever bite or anything -[VEGETARIAN RAMEN] $17 creamy vegetarian broth, with marinated egg, black fungus, bamboo shoots, and wakame seaweed both seemed to come with sheets of panfried tofu as well but it isn't mentioned in their menu very yummy haha -[POTATO CROQUETTES] $7.50 normal price is $9 but if you come at lunch, you can order a ramen and an appetizer for a discounted appetizer price! two potato croquettes come with each order that are pretty delicious, but also filling each croquette has corn in it, and is dressed with mayo, takoyaki sauce, and strips or seaweed -[TAKOYAKI] $7.50 normal price is $9 but if you come at lunch, you can order a ramen and an appetizer for a discounted appetizer price! each order comes with 5 pieces of takoyaki! each takoyaki is dressed with mayo, takoyaki sauce, and strips or seaweed Come during odd times like 2PM on a weekday and you'll be guaranteed a table! If your ramen doesn't come with a marinated egg, I highly recommend you place an order for one because they are super flavorful and so worth it Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options for their ramen and their donburi!
