The restaurant is on the smaller side with few tables, but the wait didn’t take too long. Service was great and everyone was friendly. We tried three different ramens and enjoyed all of them. The arashi ramen was amazing with a strong sesame-peanut flavour. The yuzu shio ramen was light and refreshing, and the curry ramen was true to its name. The chashu melts in your mouth, the egg is cooked to perfection and marinated amazingly, and the noodles are chewy/bouncy. We also got pork gyoza and the crepe cake for dessert which were both great.
Authentic Japanese food most likely family run. There was a constant queue at the door throughout my visit still wanting to patron there. Food quality is top and very authentic. The ramen is of good quality and tastes great. Definitely recommend a visit if you are thinking about it
If you're on the hunt for legit Japanese ramen in the Rockies, Arashi Ramen is the real deal. This tiny hidden gem only seats about 20 people—6 at the bar and 14 at tables—so expect a lineup before the doors even open. No joke, it hits full house within 10 minutes on a weekday.nnPortion is rather small, but we love that rich, punchy tonkotsu broth. It’s layered with umami from dried garlic, green onion, seaweed, bamboo shoots, and even a touch of ginger—a surprise twist you usually see with sashimi.nnTheir gyoza here are deep fried instead of the usual pan-fried style.nnBonus: parking is limited yet free in the lot, but don’t forget to register your plate inside the restaurant. Oh, and their washroom is super clean!
This is the best ramen and gyoza I've ever had outside of Japan! The Black Arashi, Devil's Arashi, and pork gyoza were all so delicious and so flavorful. The pork was outstanding. Highly recommend if you're look for authentic Japanese flavors.
Ramen here is amazing. My husband loves his spicy level 4 ramen. And my 4 year old daughter loves her Shoyu ramen. The staff are friendly, food comes fast and hot.
