Nyack has a lot of great restaurants but if you’re looking for sushi, look no further! The rolls were fantastic and they had a great selection of fish and hot foods as well. We got the pink lady, spicy girl and black dragon rolls and all of them were delicious. I’m looking forward to trying some hot foods next time I’m there! I highly recommend this place if you’re in Nyack and looking for a great Japanese restaurant.
This is such a cute place! We were greeted by the nicest host. My friend and I had the spicy crispy rice with tuna and salmon. FYI the fish on the crispy rice is tuna/salmon scrape, but delicious nonetheless. It can be filling so if you’re with one other person, one roll is enough for you both. I had the spicy girl roll very yummy and on the lower end of the hot scale. My friend had the samurai roll really delicious. The shrimp tempura in the samurai roll was very fresh and tasty in and of itself. Enjoy your meal here. You’re going to love it.
Cozy sushi spot that has both indoor and outdoor seating! I was there for the lunch special. I ordered the yellowtail jalepeneo and salmon avocado roll with a miso soup. The rolls were generous with the fish the 2 roll special was definitely enough for me! The miso was less salty than other miso soups I've had.
Although expensive this is one of the best sushi places I have ever been to in the U.S. I personally recommend the sushi dinner, because they pick high quality types of sushi.Food: 5/5
Food here is amazing, cocktails and saki are too. Decent service with laid back vibes. Recommend everything on the menu. will definitely be back.
Wow. Just wow. Our usual sushi place was closed so my family and I decided to try Raku. After the first bite, I knew my usual sushi place had been replaced by this restaurant. The fish was so fresh. I got the crazy tuna roll, my mother had an eel roll, among a few other rolls. We were all blown away. We’ll be coming back here again! Dietary restrictions: They also allowed us to order a few rolls without rice for those who avoid it
Very crispy tofu appetizer and flavorful rolls with fresh ingredients. Fresh and big pieces of sashimi in lunch chirashi. Highly recommended :
After months of waiting thanks COVID, we finally had a chance to dine here a couple of days ago. My husband and I sat outside on a beautiful day and enjoyed not only fantastic sushi/sashimi, but great service too! Cindy sp? was a delight. Attentive, quick, and pleasant. I ordered the Kaisen Chirashi which was delicious , and beautifully presented! Oh, and they finally have their liquor license! Will definitely be back.
First time ordering from this restaurant. Ordered: passion roll, vegetable fried rice and a bunch of other amazing and delicious food. Everything was so fresh and the portions are pretty good. The passion roll is my new favorite roll!
