We visited Rajdhani Sweets and Restaurant on a Sunday morning with a close friend, and it was such a pleasant experience. One thing we truly appreciated — they were open before 11 AM, while many other Indian restaurants in the area were still closed. That already set a positive tone for the day.nnMy friend and I ordered the halwa puri — absolutely excellent. The flavors were spot on, perfectly balanced, and clearly made fresh. The halwa, in particular, was outstanding.nnMy wife had the mixed paratha with dahi and wisely ordered halwa on the side — honestly, it would almost be a crime not to have their halwa once you’re there! It was rich, aromatic, and just the right level of sweetness.nnWe also enjoyed their in-house doodh milk tea, which was comforting and well brewed — the perfect complement to the meal.nnThe service was very good — warm, attentive, and efficient. It wasn’t busy at all, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable breakfast outing.nnThis is definitely a place I have to go back to. Highly recommended for an authentic and satisfying Indian breakfast in Hamilton.
This place is one of our absolute favorites!! We visit at least once a month for their amazing Cholle Bhature, Kulcha, Samosa, and other Indian snacks. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying!nnA special thanks to Simran for her wonderful hospitality; she always welcomes us with a smile and makes us feel so comfortable. On Valentine’s Day, they even surprised us with a complimentary pastry, which was such a sweet gesture.nnHighly recommend this spot if you’re craving authentic Indian snacks!
Great food, great taste, and good value for money.nnHowever, the customer service and cleanliness need improvement.nnThe plate in which the Tikki was served was greasy, and the container holding the sugar sachets looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time.nnAdditionally, there was a long wait just to receive the final bill.nnWith better attention to service and hygiene, the overall experience could have been much better.
Absolutely loved our lunch at Rajdhani Sweets & Restaurant in Stoney Creek! The Chole Bhature was spot-on—those fluffy, golden bhature straight from the fryer paired with rich, spicy, perfectly seasoned chole chickpea curry was pure North Indian comfort food heaven. Generous portions, full of flavor, and so fresh! We also enjoyed the vibrant halwa sooji-style, ghee-kissed and perfectly sweet as a delightful finish—it hit all the right notes for that classic desi dessert craving.nThe thali setup came with fresh salad, crunchy onions/carrots, raita, and warm naan/rotis on the side—everything tasted homemade and authentic. Service was super friendly and quick, and the place has a cozy, welcoming vibe. Great value for pure vegetarian North Indian eats in the Hamilton area. If you’re craving real Punjabi flavors, this is the spot—highly recommend!
4/5nnHad a great experience at Rajdhani Restaurant!nnWhy 4 stars:nn Service & Staff – Anmol was extremely friendly and attentive. She served everything on time and made sure we were comfortable throughout.nn Price – Very budget-friendly! You definitely get good value for the money.nn Cleanliness – The restaurant is very clean and hygienic. Even the washroom was well maintained, which is always a big plus.nn Food Quantity & Quality – The portion sizes were generous and the quality was good. You could literally see the butter in the Shahi Paneer and Butter Naan — they don’t compromise on richness!nnWhy not 5 stars:nnI feel they could improve slightly on taste. I’ve had channa curry at another restaurant in Brampton that was more flavorful. The Shahi Paneer was quite sweet — Anmol did mention it would be sweet, but I didn’t expect it to be that sweet.nnIt would be great if they offered customizable spice levels like many other restaurants do.nnOverall, a very good experience and definitely worth visiting
