The food here is absolutely fantastic! The prices reflect that as the place is quite expensive, but at least you know you’re eating high quality food! Seriously delicious. I recommend the gnocchi, ragu spaghetti and the affumicata spaghetti. The burrata from the antipasto is wonderfulllll and so are the polenta fries. 10/10 recommend - my friends and i ordered a bunch of dishes and tried a bit of everything it was awesome!!
We have been going to Raffaele’s Cantina since the day they opened. We had our engagement party there a few years ago, where our entire party was over the moon with food & service. We have NEVER had a bad experience and LOVE the food as it is always fresh and delicious. Our kids even ask us to go there all the time for dinner. HIGHLY recommended.
Some may argue this, but Raffaele's Cantina is the best Italian food you can get for miles and miles. You know what really confirms how amazing the food is? Even when we do take out, it's still very much in the same state as if they would bring it to your table at the restaurant. The service is the cherry on top and it's never let us down. Although we live close to the location, we would travel far and wide to get to Raffaele's if we had to :
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Raffaele's Cantina, and I must say, it was an unforgettable culinary experience that transported me straight to Italy. From the moment I walked through the charming entrance, I knew I was in for a treat. The restaurant exudes Italian charm. With warm, dimmed lighting, rustic wooden tables, and a backdrop of soft Italian music, it felt like I had stepped into a small trattoria in the heart of Florence. The cozy, intimate setting is perfect for a romantic dinner or a delightful evening with friends. The staff at Raffaele's Cantina are exceptional, especially Maria. They are not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations and answering all our questions with a smile. The service was prompt and unobtrusive, allowing us to savor every moment of our meal. Now, the most important part: the food. It was nothing short of spectacular. We started with the cozze, a simple yet delicious appetizer that set the tone for the rest of the meal. For the main course, I ordered the homemade gnocchi, and it was a revelation. The pasta were perfectly cooked, and gorgozala sauce was rich and flavorful. My dining companion had the seafood risotto, which was bursting with fresh seafood and cooked to perfection. The wine selection was impressive, and our server Maria recommended a lovely Italian wine that complemented our dishes wonderfully. We couldn't leave without trying the tiramisu for dessert, and it was heavenly. Each bite was a perfect blend of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and creamy mascarpone. The quality of the food and the overall dining experience certainly justifies the prices. In conclusion, Raffaele's is a hidden gem in Nobelton, bringing the flavors and ambiance of Italy to our doorstep. If you're looking for an authentic Italian dining experience that will transport your taste buds to the Mediterranean, this restaurant is a must-visit. Be sure to make a reservation, as it's no secret that this place is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Buon appetito!
We were 8 people looking forward to an evening out and Raffaels was recommended so we decided to try...there is nothing positive I can say, 4 out of 8 entrees could not be eaten, not sure if the fish spoiled but the smell was very unpleasant. Management didn't come over to our table, we were ignored and it's a very small restaurant so they knew what was happening. Prices were outrageous, 9$ for a bottle of sparkling water ..40$ for a burrata appetizer!! First class restaurant prices with 3rd class quality and service. Really the worst restaurant experience ever. Will never go back
We had come here for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon at around 12:00 pm. We absolutely LOVED the food! I had ordered the Polenta Fritta $16.00 to start, while my friend settled on the Frittura Di Pesce $17.00. Both dishes came piping hot, with large servings, and tasting absolutely amazing! We were astonished at how delicious everything was, and that was just to start! We then both settled on the Classico Pizza $22.00 for our mains, which was another wonderful dish. The pizza was MASSIVE, we weren't able to eat it all! There was loads of arugula and prosciutto on each slice, filling us up to the brim. Also, the pizza wasn't too thin for us to have difficulty eating it, it was just the right consistency. We were so impressed with the appetizers and mains, we knew that we had chosen a perfect place to dine. We then chose dessert, which included the Tiramisu, and Crème Brûlée, both of which were homemade, and tasted exquisite. We couldn't eat another bite, we were stuffed beyond belief! That was some of the best dessert that I have ever had; not too sweet, just the perfect taste to end off a wonderful meal. We were very impressed with how fresh, tasty, and large all of the food options were. We also loved the inviting atmosphere, with two patio options, both covered and decorated beautifully for our enjoyment. The service was top-notch, as our server was attentive, courteous, and friendly. I was impressed with how knowledgeable the servers were of all of the menu items, definitely admirable. I've been to many Italian restaurants in the past, and haven't had food this good in a long time, definitely excellent cooking by Raf, the head chef. I would highly recommend that you all give this place a try; authentic Italian food in an inviting atmosphere, filled with excellent service, which is sure to create epic memories for years to come.
Amazing pasta no words and the steak looked fantastic except it was chewy nothing special. Great service and wonderful atmosphere. We had two dishes of pasta and two steaks it costed $240 not to mention tips was pre set to $48 so it was close to $300. Little to expensive for just a day of dinner. Won’t be going again but definitely if you have the dough yeah it’s good. $$$$$$$
A wonderful meal. Excellent service from a server who knew about food, allergies, and intolerances and created a seafood dish for me that is now one of the best meals I've ever had! Lovely ambiance... We would go again in a heartbeat.
Great food great service. Daily specials are always a good choice. They have incredible wine selection and drinks.
Lovely authentic Italian dishes, some with a little twist. Everything was delicious! From the burrata prosciutto appetizer, clam chowder special, to their rib eye steak with honey truffle sauce and chocolate pistachio tart. A true hidden gem in Nobleton!
