Got the beef brisket half size and a raspberry lemonade. The beef brisket tasted alright, but had a bit too much gristle for my liking, so made it a bit hard to bite through the sandwich. The drink tasted good, wasn't too sour though if you are looking for that. Service wasn't bad. Just order at the window, get a pager, and then sit around waiting for your order to be ready. They said no dine-in, but there was a back patio to sit at if you don't mind the weather.
My husband was super excited for the spring menu deep fried soft shell crab sandwich. He wasn’t disappointed, it was extremely tasty. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.
I think I just ate the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life. The price may be high but I’d pay it over and over again.
Just got back from a last minute Valentines Day dessert run and honestly, this is going be my go-to for anything sweet. Though I haven’t tried everything I ordered yet, the highlight so far is definitely the Crème brûlée cheesecake with the hardened caramelized shell burned at time of order. The cinnamon bun is honestly one of the best I’ve had as it was so rich, almost like a croissant. Great place and friendly staff.
Came in here to try some desserts and got a cinnamon bun, chocolate avalanche croissant, Oreo cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding. Cinnamon bun was fresh and tasty; pastry was more flakey and croissant-like, opposed to dense and moist. I also think they could’ve had WAY more icing. Of course these are just personal preferences. The chocolate avalanche was DELICIOUS. Also freshly made and they had pockets of chocolate pieces. My favourite item, for sure. The Oreo cheesecake was alright. Besides the flavour of the Oreo and chocolate ganache layer on top, the cheesecake part was bland. The sticky toffee pudding was, unfortunately, disappointing : i wanted to love this so badly but the brownie/cake base was incredibly dry and the dollop of cream on top was too dense and rich. They didn’t harmonize eachother well and the amount of cream was overkill. Would have been much better if they soaked the base layer in toffee syrup to keep it moist. Overall a cute little spot inside.
Timmins Hidden Gem!! This food if omfg good! Worth every penny! Only criticism is I wish there was more on thier online menu!
This place is a real gem just like its owner, the food is fabulous and the service excellent. All fresh food made from scratch daily. I fully enjoyed our lunch and will absolutely go back again. If you have not been here for their delectable eats put it at the top of your list a must have experience. The proof is on the walls.
The menu looks to be different daily depending on the chef. Nice spot on quiet street with seat for about 12 people on 2 tables. Picked up a chicken wrap and sweet to go but should of went for the house made burger. Will go back and try other items.
A little biased but great place to eat, I actually work here and eat here everyday. We take pride in what we make and produce a lot of various treats from fresh bread made with local flour to delicious gluten free cupcakes. The lunch menu changes daily and we do our best to use local food as much as possible. All of our meat is local and you can really taste the difference. For seating we have a communal style setting of two tables for 6 we take all major cards and aswell as cash and are Both feast on using a lot of local food certified and we also have our leaf certification one of the greenest restaurants in the country
Food was healthy and locally sourced. The owners Steve and Brianne obviously take pride in what they have created and are happy to explain the food they prepare. A unique dining experience that I’m used to finding in bigger cities like where I am from.
