I recently had work done at Racetrack RV service department and the service was horrid. Not only did it cost way more than it should have, the service was terrible. It cost $3700 to repair a slide that had a little water damage to it. I required my 5th wheel to be finished for a certain date and it was ready by that date but no one called to let me know. I had to call to find out where my trailer was and was notified it was at Designer Coachworks a 3rd party contract company. I had to pick it up there and then drive to Airdrie pulling my 5th wheel to get the keys. 1 star out of 5 is being generous. Go elsewhere!
So my wife and I bought a fifth wheel rv from Racetrack RV and must say the sales staff were top notch. We have gone in for service work and have a great experience eveytime , whether it be a simple question to anything more complicated. I can honestly say they are an awesome rv dealership and kudos to the owners Ken and Charlene for taking pride in their dealership.
Took our new rv into service, was told to come pick it up. Half the work on the service order wasn't completed. Came back week later and they damage our awning and speaker by obviously backing it into something. They deny they did it. Funny, seeing that they check over the whole unit when we dropped it off and there was no damage. But somehow now that there is damage to it, it's not their fault. Be aware.
I bought a "certified used" trailer through this place. The first and 2nd times I took it out it blew a tire damaging the fenders and mud flaps. When I had the tires checked, they were worn out and had the tread peeling off. I'm told they are 13 years old according to the date stamp on them, and are unsafe to even be inflated let alone be on a trailer. The oven doesn't work, the radio doesn't work, and the propane tanks are expired. No one willing to own up to anything, and when I asked for a copy of my inspection, they couldn't provide it. Stay away from this place. Worst experience I've ever had. Too bad it won't let me give 0 stars.
Do not get fooled into purchasing extended warranty with this company. You may think you purchased $2200 worth but when you read the contract and talk with the insurance company you actually bought $1 worth. What happened to the money? Indeed. Purchase extended warranty outside this company. It is not necessary at point of sale or through them.
