Wonderful 2 night stay, friendly staff that does so well to keep the place clean and comfortable. We had a great sleep, nice hot shower, a nice simple breakfast. Convenient we were able to pay a small fee for doing a small load of laundry, and in our room had a simple kitchen with microwave and fridge. We did not use the wifi so can't say much about that. The only thing the motel needs is an update on their scan cards as they sometimes stop working, and slow drain in the sink and shower but that happens. It was a great halfway point from the two places we were exploring in our days here. We cleaned up after ourselves and left our room in nice order for the pleasant staff.
Bed was not bad. My Room and others left locked open during the day by housekeeping deadbolt extended with door open. Front desk said they will mention it to housekeeping. Good thing the place was pretty deserted. Free internet kept shutting off requiring me to ask for new 7 day codes every day. Breakfast was the same sausage and egg muffin and toast every day. 1 free bottle of water per day.
The place, now called SureStay by Best Western, is nice enough, but getting woken up at midnight by someone entering your room is a deal breaker. Luckily my dog barked and woke me up in time to her a male saying sorry and backing out of the room. I called the front desk to get the male who came into the room saying he meant to enter 118 but got mixed up. ???? The large numbers on the doors aren't enough to guide you? And 118 was across the hall and down a few yards. In the morning I went back to the front desk asking what happened last night and was told because it's been busy, they clean all day and night long and that he was trying to clean one of the rooms. Again, the numbers on the doors are a great identifier. As previously mentioned, the place is nice enough other than the Rig Pigs walking all over the place with thick mud on their boots tracking it from the parking lot where they have scraped the majority off on the curb but still manage to track it everywhere. Bed was comfortable and linens were good, too bad for my experience or it would have been rated higher.
Very nice place to stay. Spacious, clean rooms at a good price, staff were friendly as well. Beds were extremely comfortable and good selection of TV channels. Free WiFi is a plus, the breakfast is limited but overall for the price you can't go wrong.
Clean rooms, super comfy beds, and the new owner is a very kind and understanding man. My car broke down at the Esso station in Bassano, AB, and the owner was very helpful to us, even telling us that we could stay past check-out two mornings in a row while waiting for a call from the garage. I would recommend this place to anyone passing through, and will be staying here again myself in the future, as I cross the country each year for work. Thanks again to the very friendly owner and staff of R&R Inn!
