This is my third kitchen to renovate and my first experience with this store. Very poor measurements and very bad installment. The measurement was done manually and very inaccurate! The day of installment none of the pieces were with right dimensions. On top of that installers were in rush. They even broke a mixer in my kitchen. Don't even get close to this store. I wasted almost 5K for a messy ugly job! Look at the photos!
We went through very extensive research when shopping for our granite counter top. We spent 2 months comparing prices and talking to every shop in the greater Montreal area. We can state with complete confidence that R Granite Mirage is the best that you can get. Rana and her team are pros and take your project to heart, they even offered us freebies that we wouldn't have been able to pay for budget restrictions just because they thought that the aesthetic value outweighed their financial contribution... The installation team is punctual, meticulous and very friendly. The counter top was the centerpiece of our renovations and boy are we happy we found this store!
Good in store service, installation though... The people in the store were really nice and helpful. No pressure, good product knowledge, handled everything nicely. Installation, well... the measurements were obviously not taken properly, done by hand instead of laser, so really approximate. They had trouble fitting the counter and had to cut into the walls in multiple places to get it in, and I'm not talking a scrape here and there, I mean fully through the a plaster wall in two places to the point where we could feel the cold air coming in from the gaps last fall/winter before we put up the backsplash. We had huge gouges in a few places, and an almost 1/2 gap between the counter and wall in one corner. Extremely poor measurements, and what am I supposed to do when it's done? Tell them to repair the wall, remeasure exchange the counter. No, too late, it's already on. When you pay over 5000$ for counters, you usually expect them to fit properly. That was a very disappointing experience in the end.
Very nice show room , the owner was very kind , the price was good. The installation team were good and Professional. I'm so happy to receive guests at home now because they are constantly giving me compliments about how my kitchen looks beautiful now. I recommend this place to anyone looking to change or buy a kitchen countertops , amazing jobs A++ - Jason
Rana was super helpful in the process of choosing the right slab for our kitchen. The prices were excellent, the service good and most importantly the end result looks amazing.
I've just got my new countertops installed two days ago and it's like a dream come true! I always dreamt about having white quartz countertops but the price that I've got after shopping around at some home improvement chain stores was absolutely out of my reach. I almost gave up and accepted the idea of going for something less expensive. But then, in a last try, I simply googled "quartz Montreal". That's how I found this company. When I saw their prices I couldn't believe my eyes. I honestly thought that it was too good to be true and that it must be a hoax. But I couldn't resist and went there to see it with my own eyes. It was my best decision ever! The stone and ceramic they have in store are really high end quality and for a fraction of the price elsewhere. The owner and her assistant were very nice and professional. I chose a beautiful white quartz, paid a deposit, and everything that followed went smoothly. They sent a technician to take measurements as scheduled. There were no delays. The installation took about an hour with only minor adjustments done on site. I couldn't be more satisfied with my decision to do business with this company. I will definitely recommend them to all my family and friends. Thank you again! ILEANA
Before you put down the deposit you will receive 5 star service. Fast quotes, quick email responses, knowledgeable info etc... After that, expect the usual unprofessionalism. The men working for the counter company were great...management...not so much. 1st appt. for measurements, they did not show up, there was a storm and they didn't have the correct tel.# to call me. 2nd appt. was at 3pm, they showed up at 1, chuckling that I should be happy they were early it actually inconvenienced me, but I was just happy they showed up at all. 3rd appt. they showed at 3 for a 1-3pm appt., they forgot the sink. The men had to do extra cutting because of mistakes in measurements and had to return for 1/4" mistake in backsplash which Marco claimed I agreed to fill in that space with grout. 4th appt. was to be between 10-12, they showed up at 1:20pm. I got my first apology when I called RGranite at 12 to kindly ask when I should expect them. Their prices are the best. Be prepared to absorb the unprofessionalism. Like most contractors, it does not occur to them that in order to pay $3500 for a counter, you need to work, and that means your time costs money too.
Good product and service. They offer professional advices. The most important thing is the owner respect our schedule and try their best to accommodate our plan.
Excellent service. Respect the deadline and very friendly. Renovations can be such a headache and this place will reduce it by 95%. Thanks again.
