I had an amazing experience at this clinic. Understandably was on hold for a bit when I tried calling shortly after 9am. The receptionist who took my call was very friendly and helpful and had me booked in for my appointment in a few minutes. When I got there, the waiting room was empty and the receptionist was just as pleasant in person. I waited maybe a minute before being called in, right on time. The nurse practitioner who saw me was thorough, helpful and pleasant and I never felt rushed or like I shouldn't be there. Not a feeling that you always get at a walk-in or quick care clinic. Absolutely highly recommend this clinic!
Honestly I think people are just never going to be happy unless they get everything their way, it doesn't matter how nice you are. It's difficult working reception/customer service as is without having the whole medical system in Manitoba working against you. Every time I go here, the nurses have been some of the best and the receptionist, while direct, is not rude. People need to be more patient and understanding, the workers are people too and it's unacceptable to call someone "rude" just because you didn't hear/get exactly what you wanted, exactly when you wanted it. Compassion goes both ways people and it's hard to answer the phone every day and be friendly when people are just miserable to try and help. People in healthcare understand you need care, but they are not magic and when there's no appointments left or the phone is busy, it's not their fault. The treatment I recommend to you all, is a chill pill.
I haven’t had any negative experiences here. I won’t complain about wait times or being on hold or not getting through right at opening. Common sense tells me that there’s likely a LOT of people trying to call at the same time.
What a positive experience. I think its only fair to write a review to encourage and share that I think the staff at the Quick Care Office are really great. Yes, trying to get through in the morning was a bit of a challenge- thank goodness for speed dial! But when I spoke to the receptionist, she was helpful and made an appointment for my son later that day. When we arrived at our appointment, the clinic was empty and we were seen within moments of our scheduled time. Barb was our physician/nurse and she was fantastic! Thorough, pleasant, and very knowledgeable! We felt comfortable and that our concerns were addressed. I think it is only fair to recognize that those working in the medical field are human and trying to do their best. I am sure there are systems and protocols that the general public has no idea what is required of those working in the office. We owe it to these wonderful people to be patient and understanding as they care and respond to the demands of so many.
Understanding that they are first come first served by appointment, I have had great care from 3 nurse practitioners.
They say that they open at 9 am yet you'll be trying to get a hold of them forever basically. It's 9:46 am and I still have gotten a hold of them. Non stop calling and then constantly listening to the voice operator smh. I don't know what they've been doing for 45 mins of there time.
Useless service! You don't get a doctor at all. Called in and made an appointment to renew my prescription for 7:45pm. They called me at 4:33pm. And after 5 frustrating minutes with someone I could barely understand, they couldn't fill out my prescription anyways. Waste of time. I wish they would've let me know this when I was making the appointment. The receptionist was very polite and mostly helpful. That's why I gave 2 stars.
Amazing clinic staff are totally the Best! The Doctor was very caring and listened to what I had to say! Thank you all!
279 PHONE CALLS + 1/2 HOUR ON HOLD =BIG WASTE OF TIME Great if you can get in but that's become nearly impossible. 279 phone calls starting the moment they opened then finally getting through to be on hold for 28 minutes only to find out that there are no appointments left and I will need to do it all over again tomorrow.
Extremely rude reception, good luck trying to get an appointment here!
