Quest for Cakes is our go-to bakery for family celebrations and mid-week meals to go! Our latest celebration was our young daughter’s birthday. Asking for a tropical-themed party complete with cupcakes, cake and cookies, we provided Quest for Cakes ideas and images and the end result was phenomenal! I highly recommend them for your special events, they do an incredible job and reasonably-priced! Thank you for making this year’s birthday celebration a memorable one!
Quest for Cakes made our beautiful and delicious wedding cake! We got lemon/vanilla for the bottom layer and raspberry/lemon for the top. Our guests loved it so much that they ate the whole thing! They happily accommodated dietary requirements with special cupcakes and made our vision come to life. Couldn't recommend their team enough! Thank you!
Pros: tasty vegan cake, in town Cons: expensive $50 for a 6” cake, difficult location travel through construction, gravel road, and road closures, difficult ordering process I called Thursday to place an order for a vegan cake, I needed it Sunday but they’re closed so asked if it was possible for Saturday. Staff on the phone said it wouldn’t be possible fair enough but to come in and place an order instead since they receive a lot of no shows and to see what they have in store. I come in the next day Friday and I say I need a cake for Saturday. I was told to come in again tomorrow Saturday to see what was in stock tomorrow, I did not want to order a cake last minute so I said if I can’t secure an order now I’m not going to buy. They agreed to take my order. I’ve bought multiple vegan cakes from Sweets of the Earth, and Vegan Danish Bakery. I was never charged as much for the final amount with customization, they were all bigger, and looked more professional. I did ask for a butterfly or 2 but it does not justify the steep price for a small cake. At least the cake was good tasting, but I will not be coming back.
We wanted to give my mother-in-law a break on Thanksgiving from all the cooking she usually does every year, so we were looking to see who had cooked turkeys or Thanksgiving dinners. I also wanted to buy some sweets, so I stopped at Quest For Cakes. The lady at the counter said they had all types of sweets and also had turkey dinners and pot pies. I decided to to buy a large turkey pot pie, a turkey dinner, a tray of pasta and cinnamon rolls. That was the best decision I made. The turkey pot pie was delicious , the pasta was just great and the turkey dinner was perfect. The five of us were just amazed ! The taste, the portions and the prices were just the best. We could have not asked for anything better. We can't wait for Christmas because you can guess where we are ordering our dinners from. If you want great tasting food, nice portions and fair prices, look no further than Quest For Cakes !! Thanks ladies ! PS.................and wonderful sweets !
Over the years I continue to order all our family birthday and special events cakes here. Recently celebrating my mother's 80th birthday and purchased additional desserts. Everything in the photo. Everything was tasty, and wonderful. Our guests were loving everything especially the cupcakes and pies. The custom cake was light not too sweet. Perfect. A Peanut/ Nut Free facility making it easy when planning for large group, family events for those with allergies. Thank you for consistently providing great service and quality baked goods.
We placed an order for cupcake shaped as the number 30 27 in all and 6 Mother’s Day cupcake in red velvet, we all enjoyed the delicious delights. Thank you for making a special day more wonderful. Recommend for any occasion.
We ordered their Easter Turkey Dinner for Good Friday. It was AMAZING!!! Everything was perfect! Tasted as if I had made everything! There was soooo much food! They supplied everything and I have plenty of leftovers. Everyone was commenting on how good the meal was. It was well worth the money and all I had to do was heat it all up.I will DEFINITELY doing this again.Well done Quest for Cakes!!
I ordered gold and white cupcakes for my wedding. They came out purple and pink. Whoever it was argued with me telling me I did not pay for my order, so my mother in law could not take the cupcakes. The order was paid for weeks in advance. I suggested to check the spam mailbox, and there was the etransfer for the cupcakes. They apologized after stressing me out on my WEDDING DAY, and i received the wrong cupcakes for my wedding. Would not recommend. My wedding was September 12, 2020, you most likely have my maiden name-Dark. I do not write reviews providing false information. Thanks for your reply.
Quest for Cakes came highly recommended when we were shopping for our wedding cake a few years ago and we were not disappointed! Most recently we got a birthday cake made from Quest for Cakes for our daughter which was amazing! Will definitely be using them again!
Ordered a cake, cupcakes & squares for s 60th Birthday in November. Everything was fantastic. The cake was dense & moist. Icing was great. Squares were all lovely. Excellent communication from Quest. Great service. Highly recommend them
