I arrived during Billy Barker Days and was able to get a spot without a reservation. The site had power/water and was flat. Flush toilets are available. Little privacy between sites. Sites back onto the street or the Riverside Trail. Walking distance to everything in the downtown area. Good for a night or two.
we where on several municipality campings this camping is new white nice level pads some whit water and electric 110v service and some whit water and electric 220v wat was missing good bathrooms no showers?? please send a counseler to ashcroft the now howe to do it.
A very nice new park. The only downside was the 6am train. Didn't bother us much though. Central to all amenities.
This is a very new park, they have done a nice job with landscaping that will fill in. Spaces are large and nicely planned. There is a beautiful walking trail nearby that leads to parks along the river. Four stars because one of the two nights the train was making so much noise for an hour around midnight, maybe coupling and uncoupling cars? The other night was fine and the trains didn’t bother us at all. I would definitely stay there again though.
Beautiful new park with level gravel pads, right on the river.nThere are two nice clean bathrooms accessed by a code with flush toilets and sinks with running water. The TP is luxurious!nThere is a train nearby but it didn't run through the night when we stayed here.nOnly reason for four stars, not 5 is no showers.nPersonal note, the Park Host was very friendly and saved us. My husband and I are traveling home to Whitehorse, Yukon from Salmo, BC when my car broke down. I am was driving our new-to-us 1966 Austin Healey Sprite while my husband followed in the truck.nI had booked in at another Inn and RV park, but didn't feel safe with the clientele I observed. It was close quarters in a tiny courtyard with several residents with big dogs.nI had payed the fee before seeing the parking area. I sat there about 5 minutes before searching for another RV park nearby.nWhen I drove into the Quesnel Downtown RV Park I was relieved to see how nice it was and that there were empty pads. The Host was walking her dog when I pulled into an empty spot. She took pity on me when she heard my story of my day so far and offered me a spot that another client had cancelled.nHighly recommend!
