I had the pleasure of visiting Queensway West Animal Hospital today with my beloved Black Lab, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked through the door, the staff greeted us warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that immediately put both me and my dog at ease. The clinic itself was immaculate, and the waiting area was comfortable and spacious, providing ample room for pets and their owners. The veterinarian was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to carefully assess my dog's condition. They explained their findings in detail, answering all my questions patiently and thoroughly. Their genuine concern for my dog's well-being and their commitment to providing the highest level of care were evident throughout the entire visit. I also appreciated the clinic's transparency when it came to treatment options and costs. They presented multiple solutions, allowing me to make an informed decision that best suited my pet's needs and my budget. Overall, my experience at Queensway West Animal Hospital was outstanding. The combination of a professional, compassionate team, state-of-the-art facilities, and transparent communication makes it the go-to place for all your pet's healthcare needs. I wholeheartedly recommend Queensway West Animal Hospital to anyone seeking exceptional veterinary care for their furry family members.
My wife was 12 minutes late, sorry, 12 minutes and 59 seconds, according to the receptionist. She wouldn’t take my cat. “We don’t take animals if they are more than 5 minutes late” was her response. There was no one else there. I’m their neighbour. They should be a little more understanding when it’s -25 and the car wouldn’t start. Such a shame. I really wanted to be one of their regulars. I’m not taking this kind of treatment. I’m the customer, not their employee. Taking my business elsewhere. Lots of other options. Sorry for the review. I truly am. But customers paying hundreds of dollars don’t work for you. You should find a better way to refuse service.
Carring staff. They take the time to explain options to help you make the right decisions for your pets. They follow up as well to see how your pet is doing after an operation or if they were not well.
Amazing workers, don't charge for missed appointments, and always take fantastic care of my furbabies. They also explain everything clearly and are very open with all of their patients. I trust them 100%
We highly recommend this clinic since we’ve been visiting for many years. Our pets receive the highest level of care. Every staff member is kind and helpful and Dr. Duns and Dr. Morrison are thorough, knowledgeable and dedicated to helping our pets thrive.
it can't be easy to guide people through losing a best friend but i am very grateful for Dr. Jamieson and her team, who were there for me when my ailing senior furbaby needed emergency care. when other clinics closer to Renfrew refused to accept new patients and especially in an emergency, Dr. Jamieson went out of her way to care for my dying dog -- she arranged additional testing on an urgent basis, answered questions and supported me outside of business hours. she ensured that my dog was comfortable even in extreme distress that was brought on by an unexpected stroke, and i was able to say goodbye. i will be forever grateful for that. Dr. Jamieson also succeeded at wrangling my wild siamese to get a blood test and examining my anxious rottweiler who did not let another vet touch her. great vet, i wish i and my pets had met Dr. Jamieson earlier.
They took so much care with Finn when he hurt his eye. Dr. Gun and the staff are very professional & detailed Thank You
My partner and I owe Dr. Morrison, Erin, Dana and Amanda a life debt. We adopted a barn cat who wouldn't sleep-- at all. He would sleep maybe 5 hours a day and would keep us up all through the night meowing. It was like having a newborn, only furry with enormous ears. Nothing we tried worked; play before bed, an automatic feeder, puzzles, night foraging, ignoring him. Dr. Morrison and her team of heroes helped us set him up on melatonin at first and when that didn't work we got him on an antidepressant to help him relax at night. Last night we got our first 8 hour sleep in 5 weeks. The entire team was clear, prompt, understanding, helpful and made us feel better about the whole situation. It was pretty discouraging to see our new cat so upset and agitated and as first time cat owners we thought we were doing something wrong. The vet team made it clear we were doing all we could and that he needed a little extra help relaxing. He now sleeps as much as a normal cat and has even started sharing the bed with us-- something his foster said he never did in care. He is clearly much happier and relaxed. This team gave us our days and nights back and we're never going anywhere else, I don't care if we move to Norway, we'll fly back for visits.
