My husband and I had our wedding here in October. We chose a Sunday and did the brunch buffet and everything was amazing. Jackie will help you with everything you need and answer all your questions. However, keep in mind they do a lot of weddings and you won’t get her full attention until at least a month out. She will answer any questions before that just not as quickly. The food was amazing and even with an open bar, we didn’t spend much over the minimum spend. The setting is beautiful and the pictures from the day turned out perfectly. Be aware of what time you need to be out of the restaurant as there was some confusion about that and we felt very rushed at the end to completely vacate the premises. The park itself also offers a wonderful setting for photos as you can see! Photographer: pixelesque photography, cake: Trishtastic Cakes
Great experience. Nice choice of buffet items from waffles and Benny's to Roast Beef, Salmon, or Chicken! The waitresses were real humans! What I mean is that they were not perfect, nor did they sound like a recording. They were real, friendly, happy people that dud a great job! Cannot wait for our next visit. Thanks for making our visit enjoyable. Till next time!
We had our wedding reception at this beautiful venue Nov 2022. Everything was perfect! Jackie was amazing to deal with, food was fabulous... and that view!!! I have an extensive background in hospitality and it takes alot to WOW me... but they did just that! Amazing experience!!!
My husband and I got married at Queenston Heights Restaurant in October. Jackie made the experience incredibly easy and was great about setting up and taking down all of our decor. We got many compliments on the food and the staff were all very friendly and attentive to our guests all night. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We have also came here for brunch twice and the food is delicious. We look forward to returning in the summer.
Enjoyed our fourth brunch of the season. We come back with family & friends to dine on classic favourites and always seem to be taken with an exceptional dish. This time it was the Cauliflower in a mornay sauce. It was creamy, cheesy & gently browned on top. Yes, the striploin & beer battered haddock were great. The ceasar & eggs benedict superb. More than that, the doting staff here elevates your experience.
Fabulous venue! I booked the lower room for my daughter's bridal shower and we had an absolutely stunning day. Jackie and her team were amazing and all of our guests raved about the food, service and of course the stunning view. I highly recommend it for any private function.
Went here for Mother's Day brunch and really enjoyed the experience. The buttermilk fried chicken was amazing! One thing I would note: the restaurant needs to make it clear that coffee and tea are not included with the brunch, and that it's additional.
Bottom line, the venue is absolutely stunning and the food is ok. The restaurant is located on a hill overlooking the lake and has several massive monuments right next to it. The food is ok, we ordered the gnocchi, the Caesar salad with chicken as well as the tomato bisque. The bisque was a bit bland, the gnocchi was good but it could have been a bit creamier. The Caesar was good but the bacon was a bit dry and charred - definetly not fresh. The prices are more than reasonable for what you get.
The park is spotless and I would recommend it highly for those who want to spend an afternoon doing nothing but relaxing and enjoying some quiet time or just to have a picnic. The staff are friendly and very polite. To rent under one of the available canopies is a mere $60.00. I say start planning your next family get-together and make some wonderful and lasting memories. Life is to short not to.
First time - restaurant was quaint. Quality of food was ok. Temperature of hot foods was not hot. Cooked meats were dry - chicken and roast. Cold salads and cheeses were ok but they were in the sun …11:00 am. Dessert selection was ok. Not sure I’d go again.
