Awesome, good ambience, young lady staff was really good. Really enjoyed the place. The food was too good and price was reasonable. Most importantly, they have their private car parking. Highly recommendable.

It was our first visit to this restaurant. We made reservations for Valentine's. We ordered fish with chips and lasagna with caesar salad. The fish was well prepared and fresh; its tartar coleslaw was delicious. The lasagna however was meaty and the ceasar salad was not fresh it tasted like a pre-mix. Service was a disappointment. We were approached to order several times only minutes after being seated and then had to wait for almost 15 minutes to place our order. Waitress did not have service oriented mannerisms and smelt like a chain smoker. We expected this old century restaurant to be quaint. Instead, it was a hustle bustle joint with similar atmosphere to a bar. It had cheap decorations throughout. It also had less than ideal service and a loud obnoxious radio playing the opposite of romantic music with interjected doomsday news reports. Cost was acceptable - nothing to celebrate or criticize cost wise. But we definitely won't be returning.
Food was way overcooked and looked like it came from a freezer box. No music in the pub could hear everyone's conversation. Service was alright, but definitely try to feed you alcohol before your food, probably why everything is overcooked. Pictures of this place are very misleading. Seen a bat fly through the pub into the dining room, disgusting. Health and safety need to visit this place, being an old build doesn't make rodents and flying rodents right
Great food and service! I had the prime rib melt and it was delicious!! Staff is courteous and efficient. UPDATE - They now have perch on the menu!
Just watched game here ..had a meal that was so so good .. I can't believe they don't have more people here .. food was awesome
Had a great time here with my family. The staff gave us a cosy room and provided a great vibe. The food and drink was perfect.Food: 5/5
Had dinner there on the weekend. Prime rib was cooked to perfection and very tender absolutely delicious! Husband had lasagne homemade and delicious he was quite happy with the fresh bread with lots of butter on. Definitely our local go to from now on. The staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend! Can't wait to go back.
We all ordered the Pickerel on a Bun. The fish was dark grey/brown and it was so fishy tasting we couldn't eat it. The chef said it was fresh?.....Worst fish sandwich we ever had.
Best place in town! Lovely historical building in the heart of downtown Dunnville, overlooking the scenic Grand River. Great place to stop and dine for any occasion, with ample seating in multiple renovated rooms, to accommodate small to larger sized parties. Always fantastic food and beverage with friendly and prompt service!
