It’s was in March,2022 we got to this diner was excited cause outside was like back to 60-70’s which weren’t born yet I just saw it on movies once you get inside was amazing place to dine the staff ask us if it’s our first time and they give you a welcome jingle so nice, very clean place was well maintained if you think was an old place but you wouldn’t think, the chef lady was very clean and well served food. A very nice place to stop have your gas filled at gasoline alley then drop by to rest and have breakfast or brunch, definitely come back.
I stopped in here for lunch during the week on my travels because of the high ratings. This place is very retro, cosy and colorful. The waitress was very friendly and approachable. I had the loaded burger which isn't listed on the menu but is called The Princess and it was delicious. So was the homemade soup I had on the side. What made my experience was when I went to pay and she gave me a special callout at the till to the whole restaurant! Lol
Fantastic service and great food. I love the atmosphere and style of the diner as well. Will definitely come back again.
I quite often have lunch here, it’s close to my office and shop. But the real attraction is the staff who welcome you like Family, and the amazing cooks who make everything from scratch including the soup every day. The effort that they all put into the menu and and the friendliest restaurant keeps me going back. I have never had a meal here that wasn’t amazing no matter how simple it was. Every day the soups are made from love and fresh ingredients, and that is obvious in the quality and taste of the dishes they serve.
Great atmosphere! Cute spot for a bite. We've always admired this location and wanted to do a photoshoot.
The decor is kitschy and all that but the food was honestly quite bad and overpriced. Had to send my coffee back because it was so weak it just tasted like hot water and had to go hunting for ketchup on my own all over the restaurant as the waitress didn’t ask. Breakfast was very bland. Was still charged for the coffee. Also only had the option of tipping a minimum of 18% which always crosses me. 15% not good enough for you? $20 for basic breakfast. Sorry, gotta call ‘em as I see ‘em. Not good.
I have heard about this place for years and just finally got the chance to go eat there!! Only open Mon- Fri till 4pm and Saturday’s it is only open till 2:30. Open for breakfast and lunch. If you are looking for a real diner experience this is the place. Located in Burnt Lake Industrial/Queens Industrial area. Food was great and seating was available outside as well.
Awesome experience! Great diner food, friendly staff….very busy at noon. The soup was phenomenal. Coffee was a little on the pricy side for just plain coffee. But all around a good experience.
Very friendly staff. Stayed open for us as we didnt know they closed at 2. They were very good with my son. Food was amazing. You expect diner food, but this was just cooked better. Typical options just made with more care. We stumbled accross this place after a 2 hour drive. Id glady drive 2 hours again for there BLT. Kid-friendliness: Very accomidating
Another five star review for another 5 star experience. This place is great tasting and QUICK. The diner is set up in a old rail car and it's nice and retro inside.Food: 5/5
