It's a good place that the young people getting start for the game. I saw my first lacrosse game in this arena decades ago.nnThe place are still quiet in spring break. The whole area is good for a walk with a lots of parking.nnThere are many sport fields in this park. It's a good place for you getting know the popular sports in here.
The Old Barn definitely hasn't lost its charm at all.nnA friend of mine and myself took our friends from Nanaimo to the Mann Cup Games and they absolutely loved it.nnThe Old Barn hasn't changed much and I'm glad it hasn't. As it just adds to the character of the building.nnQueens Park Arena just has that special charm to it, and when it's full it just brings back many fond memories. Example of course the Salmon Bellies and also the old New Westminster Bruins Days.
Came to watch the Salmonbellies play against the Burrards, and oh boy was it a fun game. The arena was a beautiful facility, the perfect blend of old and new. Loved it! I'll definitely be back, and would highly recommend checking Queen's Park Arena out.
This is a great old barn. It breathes and smells like nostalgia from the Salmonbellies and the New West Bruins.
Concession was open for a tourney and they don't charge for the warmers which was nice. Tons of space and good views. Great rink. Lots of parking.
