Queen poutine you really need to do better… worst thing I’ve ever bought, ordered 2 hot dogs and both of us took one bite and through it in the garbage, what a waist of $17 including tip Messy, stale bun, and for some reason it even tasted like fish so my guess is something on it hot dog ketchup mayo mustard and onion was bad.
Awesome poutine! Large serving. One order will definitely feed two people. Extra nice owner. I highly recommend.
I finally made the trip from Richmond Hill to Innisfil's very own Queen Poutine just to try the Dill Pickle Poutine everyone's been talking about. It was absolutely the best poutine everrrrrrrrrrr. I had to ask chef Lisa how she was able to come up with such flavourful combinations for this particular dish. Anyone who knows Chef Lisa knows she's always dedicated her life to her craft and it clearly shows as loyal customers continue to show her support throughout the years. She's a visionary culinary artist and continues to think outside the box to please her customers. I was so impressed with my visit I hear Lisa's husband Ron makes the best burger in town. After trying one of Queen Poutine's finest dish I don't doubt it one bit. Look forward to my next visit to try the Ron Burger . Thank you to the entire staff for an amazing experience.
It ain't healthy, but if there's one thing it is, it's absolutely delicious. If you have a craving for some of the most savory food your taste buds can experience, from the sauces to the herbs to the toppings, Queen Poutine makes some fantastic stuff. No complaints about what they do at all, everyone I know that's tried this place loves it. Me included, I just wish I wasn't on such a strict diet now and could eat here more LOL. Friendly staff too.
I've tried this place twice now, and won't be coming back. I ordered the "hand dipped homemade" pogo for $8 and was given two frozen grocery store pogos, complete with the pogo logo right on the stick. They were still partially frozen in the center and I asked them to make me new ones. The spicy sausage had no heat whatsoever. The meat on the cheeseburger poutine was crunchy and overcooked. The wait time on both occasions was at least 15 min longer than what was estimated. I will say that their fries are good and staff are nice. Prices are a little steep for what you get.
You get a pretty generous helping for about $8-10 +tax. The gravy is great, though the fries could use help. They don't taste as fresh as you'd expect. Overall, if it's a once in a while poutine fix in Innisfil, then it's worth a shot. They also offer other items like funnel cakes, but I have yet to try them.
Ordered a small fry as a quick snack. 30 minutes for a small fry. I ran into one of the stores in the plaza while my order was being prepared. Came back and he’s like “buddy where did u go?” Starts a new order of fries instead of having mine ready. He had put them in another order I’m assuming. Like…. ur making fries man!!! Figure it out. “Sorry they have to be crispy my friend”!!!! We’re not friends and the fries were terrible. Asked for salt….. not a spec of salt. I turn back and park. Ask for the salt. The guy hands giants chunky sea salt. No grinder just giant break ur teeth kinda salt. I don’t remember seeing this guy so I’m not sure it it’s a new owner but man. I tell you one place I will never go to for fries again.
I was really craving a poutine today and decided to try queen poutine for the first time. I didn't mind the 40 min wait as it was peak time Friday 6pm for take out. I purchased an order of poutine Supreme from them and was fairly disappointed. Unfortunately, this isn't a poutine. There was no gravy and no cheese curds. I thought maybe I was mistaken as to what is a poutine, but no, after looking online, it's not a poutine if there's no cheese curds or gravy. It was basically just a fries supreme. Calling their poutine Supreme, a poutine was really misleading and when youre really craving poutine, and get no gravy and cheese curds, it was disappointing. It still tasted okay, just when you're REALLY craving poutine and wait 40 mins to find out there's no cheese curds or gravy when you get home, it leaves a bad first impression. TLDR; If there's no gravy and no cheese curds, it's not a poutine, so I felt cheated by the poutine Supreme being called a poutine.
Horrible experience and customer service. Waited 45 minutes for two poutines. Didn’t tell us the wait time until after we had paid and told us it would only be about 20 mins. Then everybody that had ordered after us got their food before us as well as the poutines did not look or taste very good for a 45 minute wait. Myself and my family will not be returning here.
Try the homemade pogos!!! Best food truck I have ever come across at a Canadian Tire parking lot! For a food truck style place, The menu is absolutely wild with options!! The owner is a pleasure to deal with, just adding to the over all experience. HIGHLY recommended you stop in this parking lot and try some of the food out, your mouth & tummy won't be disappointed!
