Queen Mary’s Market around Kingsway is one of the coolest hidden gems in Edmonton. The place is packed with vendors offering retro collectibles, nostalgic items, and unique finds you won’t see anywhere else. It’s the kind of market you can spend hours wandering through and still keep discovering something new.nnI was especially impressed by the Three Seas Nerd Market — they were custom-designing shirts right on the spot for anyone walking by. Whatever idea you had, they could bring it to life. Super talented crew.nnI also had a great conversation with the owner about getting some Dragon Ball Z gear made for working out. Awesome energy, amazing people, and such a fun environment.nnIf you’re into retro, collectibles, creative pop culture items, or just want a great weekend stop, Queen Mary’s Market is absolutely worth checking out.
So this place has lots of really neat shops and so much variety. Some are really well presented and helpful others are cringy and feel in kept. One bathroom was disgusting to the next level but another one was decent. So I have a 50/50 view on this place.
Always a great place to venture to, many different booths and meet new vendors, some vendor's that have been there for years. Whom have become like family, when you see them. Seen many vendors start here and have gone on to start their own stores. Games, Antiques, Clothes, Food and much much more. Id recommend to go drop in.
Went there with my boyfriend today for Valentines day, ate at the Polish delights and the food was fantastic. It made the whole cafeteria in the market smell amazing. The daily special I had was cabbage rolls, a Polish sausage, 4 pierogies and a hearty helping of the usual toppings you'd expect. Fantastic. 10/10 We will be going back for more :
First time here, and “diverse” is definitely the right word. Not just between vendors, but even within each booth—you’ll see one person selling tools, and right next to them someone offering household knickknacks, stickers, gifts, and who knows what else. Sometimes it feels like a mash-up of everything, booth to booth.nnOut of curiosity, i visited the “office” and asked about leasing a space. Let’s just say: not the most transparent process; trying to get a straight answer felt like pulling teeth and prices weren’t attractive. It’s a simple question, but I couldn’t get a simple answer.nnAll in all, a so-so visit. Not for me, and there are other markets in the city I’d rather support.
