Quality Inn

Always a pleasure staying at the Columbia City, IN location. They have friendly service and the room was clean. I appreciate the rooms being equipped with microwave and fridge. The complimentary breakfast is nice with access to a waffle maker. I would give 5 stars if the spa wasn't out of order. We'll be back.

It is a decent hotel for a small city/town. It was fairly clean. The beds slept well & the rooms have a mini fridge & microwave. There is a small pool & a basic continental breakfast. It is a non-smoking hotel with no elevator to the second floor. It works well enough for 1-2 nights.

Our room was missing a chair. The corner where the chair was supposed to be was dirty and the wall was scratched up. The desk chair had a broken wheel that i discovered after falling out of the chair. The iron, along with the mount for the iron came off the wall. The iron was broken and leaked water all over my wife’s dress. At checkout I addressed my issues with the person at the desk she apologized then proceeded to explain that the rooms were just renovated to excuse these issues. She then complained about the speed of the computer, handed me my bill. if your rooms were just renovated you have been scammed. Nothing about our room looked renovated I was not offered any type of retribution or compensation. I was charged the full amount. I am very disappointed. I picked your hotel over motel six and i have regretted it ever since. I truly do not believe that I should have had to pay for the room at all. I would have been satisfied with at least a 50% off.

Hotel, though appearing to be somewhat new, was a bit green around the gills: dirty corners, edges, etc. My biggest frustration was with their deceptive pricing. In looking the hotel up online, the price for two queen beds was listed as being reduced to $60 with a red pop up. However, in trying to use the pop up price, it noted that it was no longer available. In going back to the hotel's web site - the pop up for $60 still showed - 1/2 hour after the earlier one. When I arrived the young lady at the counter said that that price wasn't good, and instead quoted a price more than $20 higher! Her excuse was that they never heard of that price, but that the hotel was nearly full on the night we statyed. Again, I found the answer she gave as nonplausable, since it was still showing online at $60 ---- and there was 4 cars in the parking lot at 10:00 pm and at 7:00 am the next morning! I hate deceptive pricing and encourage the owners of this hotel to just stop it.
