My son and I became customers of PW Fitness four years ago. In the beginning my son and I liked this gym a lot, the hours were good and there was lots of machines and to work and we worked out a lot. However in recent years our schedules and traveling didn't allow us to use the gym very much at all. Non the less we kept our membership in hopes we could come back. Then in August we canceled our memberships and turned in our badges. We have copies of the documents. In the documents there was a notice that we could still had to pay for 30 days after our termination. (Never saw that in the first contract) and we disputed it with the staff person, who told us only Phil the owner could help us. We made numerous calls to Phil who never answered them or return a call. In order to keep our credit scores, we paid for the month of September under duress, but now we have been charged not only or monthly fees but the rewnal fee for the next year. This is outrageous and we are filing disputes with our credit card company anand with the Better Business Bureau

Interesting gym. It has many free weights, cardio and overall machines. If your into serious working out this is a great place to be. However, there are some things that needed to be fixed. By all means this place isn't an A+ but it's a B+ and in the works. The owner and the staff are very friendly. Some things that need to be repaired are the sinks which in the men's room have barely been touched in the past 2 years, and the urinal hasn't been working since at least 2 years. It's not a HUGE deal, but I can understand how it can be. Overall, weight lifting at this gym is super interesting. There are dumbbells that go up to 100+ pounds. Most gym's around the area of Penfield don't offer a raw feeling. You can even use chalk which most gyms don't allow. By all means, this is a totally worth it gym. Starting @ $20 and ranging up to higher rates depending on the plan you go with. Either way the $25 24/7 Access is totally worth it. Bare in mind there is a joining fee of $20 as of 3/13/2017. At the end of the day it's up to you, while most gyms in the area (YMCA, Golds, Worlds, & PUSH) are all competitive to this gym, it all depends on your needs.

This place is great! No one bothers me, I can get on any machine I need to and the staff always greets me with a smile. WAY better than going to a big gym where you struggle to get any weights or on any of the equipment.

This place is absolutely horrible. Don't waste your time. Its nasty! And down right gross. If it brakes, definitely don't count on it being fixed

This gym does not deserve any stars! When I told them I was updating my credit card they told me to write it on a piece of paper, and they'll put it in the cash register for the owner the next day. Months later I was getting letters in the mail saying I owed money. I went back to the gym did the same thing over again and it finally worked, I stopped getting letters. A few months later my fiance and I decided to end our memberships. Our account was active for 30 days after the date of cancellation and we were responsible for all payments that occur within that time period (so we still had to pay one month even though we were not going). Now months later I'm still getting billed, and when I try to call no one answers. Overall this gym is horrible. No one answers the phone, I've waited at the desk for 15 minutes before someone asks if they can help me. They bill you after you cancel. Don't bother getting a membership you will regret it!
