I'm an online shopper and recently, a full-time Shipper. I was always astonished at how fast they came for business pick-ups. Easy to track and easy parcel and freight services. For my home life, I have easily rescheduled deliveries to my home and on the rare occasions that I have traveled to the depot service there was always friendly.

On line tracking shows three packages delivered yesterday, bu only two were left. Also, they were left in plain view of the street in front of the detached garage instead of at the house. We can't see the front of the garage from the house so we didn't know they were there until we stumbled upon them late in the evening. Over the last few weeks, deliveries have been left at various locations around the property - everywhere except at the front door of the house. Consequently, we have reported missed shipments to the sender only to later find packages in some obscure location. I have phoned the local Purolator office and left a message to discuss the missing package and random delivery locations but have not received a response. Customer service could definitely improve. Update 2018-04-03: The missing package turned up yesterday with a hand written note "Wrong Address". Obviously it had been misdelivered. Still no reply to my voice mail from Purolator.

Been ordering online for about 15 years and Purolator is definitely easier to deal with than FedEx or Canada Post. Call centre answers quickly and is based in Canada, easy to arrange to pick up my packages at the depot if I'm not going to be home.

Why would a Purolator truck race by my place (yes, this truck was speeding) and NOT deliver the package that was scheduled for delivery? Delivery was supposed to be by 8pm and at 5pm I saw the truck race by. Does Purolator require a human sacrifice (vis. throwing oneself in front of the speeding truck) in order to get a package? Would really like to know. Instead of a human sacrifice would a bobble head doll suffice?

I have been waiting a week for 2 day shipping from Amazon. My buzzer finally rang and in the time it took me to buzz open the door and get down a single flight of stairs (a few seconds at most) the driver and truck were both nowhere to be seen. A few minutes later the tracking status changed to failed and I had to get on the phone to customer service to find out what was going on. The call centre informed me that it would be Monday at the earliest that I would be able to either have it redelivered or dropped off somewhere else for me to pick up because it would be going back to Nanaimo (hours drive away, and we can't drive due to disability anyway) for the weekend. After calling the Nanaimo office (and hitting a random staff extension as they don't have a secretary or customer service rep apparently) I was lucky enough to get someone who was willing to call the driver on his phone and ask him to try again. I needed this stuff 3 days ago, I DEFINITELY need it this weekend, and I was there to receive it. I am FUMING at the run around this has caused. If I'm lucky, the driver might have time to try to deliver it again today, otherwise I might be able to get a ride from a friend to pick it up tomorrow. If the driver had waited 10 seconds at the door no one would be having to deal with this, but apparently that is too much to expect. UPDATE - Apparently leaving it with their agent here in town was too much and I have to wait until Monday anyway. Another failed delivery attempt email too, despite not even buzzing and giving us absolutely no way of knowing he was here at all. This is the most pathetic service I received from any company ever.
