Great family owned grocery store! Best produce and deli in Welland. Fresh baked buns daily. The beef on the bun is great for catering a get together also. I have been going here with my parents since I can remember and now do the same with my own child.
Pupo's grocery store is the good old type of grocery outlet that deserves a BIG congratulations for the wonderful store they have put together. It is not the major grocery stores we all know about. It is a lot more the type of store we all knew back then, years ago. But nevertheless, it does provide a must wonderful shopping experience. The store supplies everything one needs to eat well and entertain guests at home.nEach row provides and excellent choice of grocery items everyone needs, without having excess amounts of brands available. The prices are more than reasonable. One can find items that are priced well below items in the larger chains.nThe fruits and vegetables sections are well laid out, and are fresh...nThe choice of cheeses is excellent and provide all that one needs.nThe meat counter in very well garnished and the cuts are plentiful.nAll in all, a shopping experience at Pupo's makes for a must wonderful outing whilst making sure you can find everything you need.nThe personnel, well... Nothing to say other than they CARE about you, they will go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need.nFinally, the store is extremely clean and week kept.nI know my shopping experience was a great one. If you live in Welland you can't go wrong; try out and go out shopping for yourself, I promise you will be amazed of you grocery shopping experience.
Big store with lots of parking. Great amount of different vegetables & fruits always look fresh. Amazing choices for fresh meats: Chicken, turkey, pork and beef sausages and some uncooked prepared items available. Big choice of deli products and some prepared meals availabletried cabbage rolls and pierogis - delicious. Overall great store with majority of fresh items from farms. Love it, always my go to store, just don’t go to close to closing time as majority of stuff will be already put away.
I love Pupos, really fresh produce, family-owned, great prices too. They have a hot bar that has the best perogies and pasta sauce! Highly suggest trying their butcher for a perfect cut of beef.
Manager says they won’t accept a native status card “per the government” but offers no proof of such. Avoid this establishment in the same manner as you would herpes. Both will leave you burning with frustration and disappointment.
