Fell in love with browsing around and also dining in, while reading the newly bought books. I would love to come back whenever I am back in the area. Came in to experience the vibe and it was so priceless. Got so engrossed in the experience that I forgot to take more pictures deeper inside of the sections and rooms of Robbie Rare Books. Very grateful for people like Max to live out the dream and sustain a valuable establishment like this to carry on the history and legacy of pulp fiction which is harder to find these days.
We got a couple of their sandwiches that were made on sourdough bread Montreal smoked beef and the Genny. The flavors are largely salty and the layer of meat is paper thin so it was very difficult to appreciate much. Tried their Jasmine tea fog and lavender lemonade - the lemonade had a hint of lavender but was otherwise a standard lemonade. The ambiance is great and would go back for that, as well as to peruse their collection. A nice place to sit and chat.
Fun environment in which to linger over a coffee, enjoy a wrap or muffin some vegan foods offered and wander through the rooms full of books, posters and antiques. I would like to be able to purchase coffee beans or ground coffee in bulk, rather than in the 350-gram bags, so I could buy a smaller amount.
Excellent coffee shop/cafe, extremely unique style and eclectic mix of a cafe that meets a library/book store. Friendly staff and excellent drinks and food. As they say it “art, books and antiques, all in a groovy retro atmosphere in downtown Kelowna “
As usual, I forgot to take pix before we started eating. I had the ham and egger sandwich which was customized even tho the till clerk thought maybe they couldn’t. The cinnamon bun fills the plate. Tasty. Not far off the waterfront promenade.
Awesome coffee with lots of flavour and fun options. Great vibes inside and an awesome place to work and get stuff done they have wifi. Cool music too. I also love their salted caramel cold brew. Only downside is that it’s quite expensive. This coffee was $8.
The caffeine crawl in Kelowna continues at Pulp Fiction Coffee House. Conveniently located in a lively neighborhood with lots of seating inside and outside to enjoy your coffee and pastries. There's lots to see here and it has a great atmosphere for catching up and talking story. There's even a rare books collection and you can easily spend half an hour wandering around looking at all the different posters.
Very nice and cozy small coffee, you can really find a lot of pulp fiction, classic literature, if you are into old books, you are at the right place. The ice latte and matcha latte were really good, very tasty and our customized request was fully satisfied.
What a gem! You HAVE to visit this coffee shop even if you want a glass of water—a fabulous collection of statues, books, paintings, hats, and more. Oh, and yes, the coffee was good, too, haha
This has to be one of my favorite coffee shops in the world. The cafe is attached to a vintage book/ antiques shop, making for a fascinating and really unique environment. The coffee and every food item I tried were excellent they have a mean banana bread toasted with butter - highly recommend it. The owner and the staff members are also great. Had a great chat with the owner the last time I was here, he is a really interesting fellow. They have plenty of tables and spaces that are perfect for socializing, studying, or working remotely. I won't think twice about coming back next time I'm in town.
