The warmth of the atmosphere and the service is wonderful! And the food - is equally wonderful. Stopped in on a busy Friday night, found a seat in the back and started to soak in the sounds and sights of this cozy NY inspired eatery. Settled on the Fried Chicken sandwich and the side of garlic fries - both were great. Enjoyed the happy hour beer special and the accompanying domestic lager. Service was friendly, engaging and outgoing. Rod - is clearly passionate about not only football, service but also food. If you are looking for a great spot, with a selection of comfort foods, and sports, this place is a must visit!
This place has been on my list for a long time. Now that I’ve been, I’d like to be a regular! Great hot dog and the NY style pizza with pepperoni is spot on!! I’ll be back!
Delicious pizza, great relaxing spot, cool music, and great service! This is our second time here and it doesn't disappoint. We will be coming back soon.
Just got home from my first visit to Pubblico Eatery. We had a great Sunday lunch and was beyond happy with our meal and our time there. We started with the Fried Zucchini, which was the best I've ever had, and then shared a pizza. I've lived in Ottawa for about 15 years and eaten more pizza then I'd like to admit....Pubblico Eatery was the best I've tried in Ottawa hands down. Everything was made in house and very fresh. I only wish I lived closer, highly recommend giving it a try. Will definitely be back again to try different items off the menu. I never post reviews for restaurants, but it's extremely rare to enjoy every aspect of your dining experience.
I need to share how amazing my food was! Now im not one who reviews too often but when you have a sandwich thats this good you have no choice! The pastrami sandwich these guys serve is too die for! I had it last week and basicly just had a flashback and now i might go there for lunch. The bread meat and sauce all compliment each other so perfectly i killed it within minutes and had no shame doing it the bar was fulllol. Trust me they have gems on the menu but that sandwich is killer!! The server was very good also he had a huge beard all the regulars loved him he was very helpful ;

Staff is really nice, but I got swver food poisoning from here and was out of commission, in agony, for 2.5 days. I wrote to management on their website but didn't hear anything back. It's a nice friendly place, but the food poisoning was just awful, and the lack of response quite jarring.Food: 1/5
We ordered takeout from here NYE. It was delicious! We had the Caesar salad which had a delicious dressing and pancetta and croutons and some kind of yummy white cheese not parm. Then we had the steak sandwich which had a really yummy grilled steak flavour and a super nice, soft Portuguese bun. Lastly we had the mushroom pasta which had a light but delicious cream sauce with a serious rosemary flavour. Not sure if the fettuccine was fresh but it tasted like it was. All in all really good. I’m sure in person it is even better!
Very underwhelmed. Was really hoping to find a slice of NY pizza in Ottawa. Unfortunately, the pizza is neither New York style nor good. I think the cheese is the main problem. I love pizza and I struggled to get through a second slice which says a lot.
Tremendous service. Isabel was delightful and so accommodating. Two thumbs up! Been here three times and it has not disappointed! Game is always on - could not recommend more. Friendly and prompt team.
