A great experience the views are really nice over the bay and enjoyable experience all in all. I went with the steak and fries was really good the staff are very polite and professional the experience and the view are well worth it. In the summer months they have the terrace so can imagine that it’s pretty popular. The only thing I thought was annoying that I went at 1625 and checked on google maps and had done a search to see what was open so I went upstairs but the guy wasn’t really happy that I was there.
We only stopped at the pub for a quick bite. We had some wings which were a bit on the smaller side but good not great, but good.
My wife and I quite enjoyed the food, however the service left much to be desired. Our waitress did not offer us any water nor did she check in on us during any point during our meal. I purposely put my empty beer glass on the edge of the table, which she noticed, but chose to ignore. I certainly hope it was not because we are English in a French speaking area! Everyone else seemed very pleasant.
We got horrible service here. No drinks orders until almost 45 minutes sitting there. We had to ask for menus, and water tops ups because no one was coming to our table, at any point. The food was not good. We got the Saumon en Croute salmon in a crust. There was no crust, it was like a cracker topping, and only on one of the 2 salmons wecordered. It was supposed to come with creamy parmesan rice and brocoli, but the rice was dry and bland, and it came with grated, whitened beets. Not tasty. The only good thing was the carbon nara pasta. Do not eat here unless you have no other choice.
It's not really a pub but a large open plan restaurant with a small bar in the corner. Being on the first floor it has an elevated view over the coastline but lacks any ambiance. We stayed for a quick drink but didn't stay for a meal so food wise cannot comment, but it was busy and full of people.
Brought my best friend here to celebrate her 50th birthday it was so delicious
Arrived before the dinner rush and server made it seem that we were an inconvenience bc we didn't have a reservation. Took a while to get a beer and then the nachos came burnt with olives - had asked for no olives. They redid them, but they were pretty bad. I understand the local thing is to put salsa under the chips but it makes everything soggy. Cheese flavorless. Nothing is made in house I'd guess i.e.Guacamole. The other person then got their fish & chips - just warm not hot. We weren't asked for about another beverage until our plates were cleared. For me personally felt like a tourist trap - I knew it went anyways bc I didn't feel like hunting around. Must be better food somewhere in town.
Could the owner tell me why I walked in the restaurant 10:50 this morning, and the girl told me there was no more breakfast? And then I asked for the lunch, she said there was no more food here. And at the same time, there were many tables eating here and some of them still waiting for their food. I don’t get it, because I am the English speaker or something else? I can’t tell.
Ate the crispy shrimp appetizer which was superb followed by the lobster and shrimp pasta which I would highly recommend. All recommended by our very informative waitress Marlene. Thank you Marlene.
It is only ok. Pretty ordinary food. Not bad but just par. Dinner music was bad though. I hate eating to heavy metal background thrasher....
