Excellent French onion soup. Pleasant staff. Fun atmosphere - local feel.

Nice place to get a beer since their patio is right in the main stairway that leads to the owner part of Old Quebec. However their European was nothing special with just mustard on it. The inside of the pub was way to bright.

Great vibe in ancient masonry building. Try the French onion soup, French Canadian style:) Great Whisky selection and interesting art.

Be careful if you pay with USD. Staff is either inept or purposely attempting to swindle customers. Good experience till having the waiter take the Canadian dollar value in USD and having him throw the money on the bar and walk away when I corrected him.

Went to this pub for a couple drinks. The waitress was insistent a tip of 20% was mandatory, though the bill clearly states this is a suggested tip. The restaurant and patio was mostly empty but service was lacking. We ended up paying the 20% tip so we could leave but not worth the watered down drinks and hassle of getting proper service. This pub is in a popular tourist area so maybe they think many tourists will pay up, just like we did but there are many more restaurants in this area to visit, that are worth your time and money.
