Nice. Size of the place makes it warmer than most other grocery stores... could use a little decoration though...

Really, it's a depanneur. Half of the staff is brain dead. The older ladies there are great - the young cashiers are indifferent and putting in time. When people start coming into the store, they should man more cash registers to be ready. Instead they wait for lineups at the register to form before manning up. Just plain bad management. Since the new owner ("Dominic Casau") took over, pricing is ridiculously high on a lot of items. OTOH, if you play their bad pricing management game, you can get some good deals when they inevitably clear stock. They should really learn to "right price" then they'd lose less on clearance sales and gain more on steady customers. The proof, that this is a depanneur and not a grocery store is in the baskets people bring to the cash: small number of items for the vast majority of clients. Some of the Clueless cashiers don't seem to grok Apple Pay. Claim it screws up their balance. That's okay, there is a grocery store not far away called IGA. A real grocery store. Maxi is a better deal all around, not to mention Super C (which isn't great, but good deals to be had on occasion). Pro tip: if you want fruit and vegetables go down Boul. de Gaulle to the 3 saisons store on Grande Côte/Adolphe-Chapleau. Much better, fresher selection and prices often 1/3 to 1/2 on fruits and veggies. Alas, not open in winter. Pro info: this location was supposed to expand by about double to become a grocery store. Instead it seems bound to remain a depp.

Perfect location to not invest in customer service. Always short staffed.
