Prova Bar and Kitchen

Pretty good pizza to be found here. Nice thin crust oven pizza. It is in the Delta hotel and the ambience is not bad - the service at the bar was quick, efficient and nice. I would repeat. MB rating 8.

Had a great experience at Prova. The food was so flavorful and delicious! The service was exceptional and everyone in the restaurant was super friendly. Our server Ricardo went above and beyond in his level of service to make our night enjoyable. Will definitely be visiting this restaurant more often. Keep up the good work!

A really really wonderful experience. Had the crispy eggplant very nice, the focaccia that chili sauce is fantastic, the Caesar salad too much dressing, and the braised beef orechiette comfort food at it's finest. Very fair prices. Great wine recommendation by Gary. And our server, Ricardo, was a gem. Would definitely be back.

We stopped in for a quick drink around 5pm. We first asked the hostess what the happy hour deal was as it was advertised out front, she did not know. When our server came, she let us know that the happy hour menu is just a half priced house red, house white, or coors light. We opted instead for a ceasar and a mimosa - the drinks were a bit small and just ‘okay’ for a $40 bill with tax and tip.

Staff are PHENOMENAL and the pizzas are to die for. If you want a proper Italian fired pizza, this is absolute the place to go downtown.

Review only applies to pizza. Wasn't expecting too much before coming here, and that met expectations. Very average pizza, sloppy distribution of toppings, not cooked evenly. Dough used wasn't worked enough to stretch the gluten. Wouldn't come back. I'm picky with pizza and this wasn't worth having. Rest of the table seemed to be pleased, so there's that. Service; however, was exemplary and really attentive. Our server was polite, friendly, and pleasant. Nice open and airy space. Clean and welcoming. Shame about the food.

The food here was excellent but I do have to be honest, it was really hard to make a decision on what to get because the menu had a bunch of weird combinations that I we both would never eat. The staff was excellent here. I am not sure I would come back here I would probably try something different next time.

Disorganized is probably the best word. Had a pretty bad experience here and likely won't try it again. Our server was abrupt and unable to provide a drink menu or recommendations. Once we were able to order we were not checked on and had to ask another server to take our empty glasses, at this point we did not wish to order anything else, and still waited quite a while after that to be able to flag our server down to provide the bill. All staff was much too busy watching the hockey game to focus on serving customers. Including the kitchen staff that kept coming out to check the score.
