Their pizza is good but holy garlic!! I wanted to try their breadsticks and that was a horrible idea. I have never seen so much garlic in my entire life! Why would you add that much chewy, crunchy garlic to a piece of bread?? And no marinara ? Those have to be fixed. But otherwise, the pizza is good margarita is awesome.Recommended dishesPizza Margherita
I absolutely love Pronto's 12-inch personal pizzas! The crust is to die for and they have more options for super fresh toppings than anywhere I've ever been. I sincerely hope they do well enough here in town to be an Ithaca staple. If they make any mistakes, or if you are ever not satisfied with your order, they have the integrity to make it right for you. I can't wait for my next pizza night!
The staff will lie to you! I ordered the gluten free cauliflower crust. When the pizza was served it clearly did not look like a cauliflower crust but just a regular thin crust. I asked the server if this is surely the gluten free cauliflower crust. He said "yes looks great right". As I had no other options I ate it anyway. The day after I had the worst gastrointestinal problems. Moreover 5he Pizza is also just bad. Both pizzas we ordered were completely soaked in garlic and did not have much other ingredients on it after we scraped that off.
I had an issue with an order I got wrong salad base and went the next morning to talk to a staff member to realize pronto was actually closed for remodeling. A staff member helping with the remodeling took notice of me and asked what happened and had me go next door to jacks because they’re owned by the same people. There I talked to another nice staff member who went into pronto while it was closed for the remodeling and made me a new salad : Very nice of them!
Smaller than expected, but tasted great Edit: got their pizza again and it tasted terrible. I wasn't even able to finish one slice. It was sweet for some reason? Dropped review from 4 stars to 3 because the first time I had pizza here was great. Inconsistent quality.
Late night dinner option was prepared beautifully on a thin crust, white mushroom pizza, perfectly done with the cranberry goat cheese, spinach salad that paired superbly together. Thank you to whoever created this meal for me last night as it was probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. Highly recommend! Vegetarian options: White mushroom pizza and goat cheese cranberry salad!
I ordered a salad for delivery and a seltzer water and the salad was missing ingredients and the water didn’t arrive with the delivery. I called and they said there was nothing they could do regarding refunding me the water and the ingredients that were missing. I emailed from the contact page on their website and no one ever responded. Atrocious customer service — which is pretty clear by the number of 1 star reviews.
Incredibly embarrassing for almost 11 dollars. The picture says it all but let me say more. Before spring break the size of this salad was maybe 3 times what it is now. Makes sweet green look like a bargain but I guess when there’s no competition that’s what happens.
I tried this place back in February. The staff took 5 min to even realize I was there and the pizza was over priced and terrible. I bought 3 different pizzas to try with a friend and my partner, and not a single one was enjoyable. There was an over-powering garlic and salt flavor that dominated anything that may have even remotely resembled real flavor. The garlic was clearly cheap, citric acid soaked stuff, too. The toppings were not generous either. I may have caught them on a bad day - and I admit everyone has them - but there was nothing about my experience that made me want to go back. I'm pretty sure after reading the other reviews that this place survives off of convenience for students only.
I'm never going back. You have to order online even when eating there, and the experience was painful. Slow and had to re-enter all my cc info even after clicking the Apple Pay option. Then asked for a glass of water but policy is no glasses of water, only plastic bottles. Two guys behind the counter couldn't care less about anything. itself was just ok. Luckily Ithaca had many pizza options.
